I preface this by saying, I have given almost all my reviews 5 stars, but this is an interesting one. On the surface, it seems like a more modern version of the dated Harmony controls. And while it works well to perform basic universal remote functions, the added bells and whistles are useless. Selecting an app directly or even a specific show on an app in a streaming device takes forever. Not worth it. Plus, I more times than not have to wake up the remote by moving it before it will work. Finally yesterday, I set up my Harmony Companion again. So much better. Brining this one back. Sorry, Caavo. You have potential and vision. But the performances are amateur hour.

This unit when working properly is great! Basically we have three video game systems and direct TV running into it and let's you switch between them all and gives you a remote that replaces them all. It also allows voice command I've had it for a month and love it. Just know there is a $49.99 lifetime subscription fee to use the apps and sync it all but worth it.

Picked it up today for 40% off usual price and it was installed, updated, configured and in use inside of 20 minutes. Unbelievable. One simple user-friendly remote controls everything with some extra super useful bonus features. Alexa support is good, just wish I didn't have to invoke with "Ask Caavo...". Search function and built-in voice search works great. Needs more app support, and deeper integration with DirecTV Now. But for 60 bucks, this has totally replaced my Harmony Ultimate/Hub and improved and simplified the TV watching experience for everyone. Best deal going right now.

I go crazy with multiple remotes (TV, Cable Box, Apple Tv and Visio Soundbar. Caavo allows me to control it all with one remote. Amazingly easy to set up. Takes some getting used to which buttons control what but once accomplished it has really made it easy. My only complaint is sometimes it does something unexpected. Really nice to be able to change channels with voice commands.

WOW! The Caavo Control Center is such an awesome piece of tech! I've always wanted to find something to replace the multiple remotes I use daily. Thought about a universal remote, something premium, but couldn't really justify the price point. And the setup, my brother told me, is a pain. May not be with all universal remotes, but what I had consider would have been. I found out about Caavo from a YouTuber I subscribe too. When I found out what Caavo could do, I was sold! My favorite part during the setup was how Caavo knew exactly what I had plugged in to the HDMI port. It detected My Roku Ultra, Nvidia Shield TV and Nintendo Switch, name and little icons to go along. I'm very happy with Caavo, and their customer support team!

Having a single HDMI cable fired to our main TV over the fireplace, I can’t tell you how many hdmi splitters I have tried. Rocket fish from BB and dozens from online reviews etc... cheap, expensive, doesn’t matter. All of them had problems. Finally bit the bullet and tried the Caavo unit. While it’s Still not perfect; it does work and it’s way better than anything else I’ve tried. Recognized all components and set up in a snap. The only “complaint”is It gets bogged down with the voice activated search; it seems easier to just go to a component and search natively. Also switching direct to an application is a little slow. Ie: if you want to switch to Netflix and your Netflix if on your fire stick. It’s cleaner and faster to select fire stick first and then select Netflix instead of asking the unit to start Netflix. Especially if Netflix is also available on another source (such as your TV hub). I know that all might seem complicated but it’s really a minor inconvenience. If you are searching for an HDMI splitter solution is seriously recommend giving caavo a try!

If you need a good HDMI switch with a responsive remote to control the inputs to the switch AND you don't want to use any of the smart TV functionality that you may have already purchased with your TV set (such as Roku TV on a TCL TV) then you may find this item to your liking. I have multiple streaming devices and a Roku TV - but unfortunately I cannot get to the Roku TV functionality with this device. Also, unfortunately if you also want to control non-HDMI devices in an entertainment center (such as equipment that interfaces with bluetooth to an AVR) then this will also not work for you. I bought this with the hope that it would replace a Harmony Home Ultra/Hub configuration but it just does not have the flexibility that the Harmony has. So it now occupies a drawer of unused equipment in my entertainment center. Too bad for me, but if you have a simple configurations and it is all based on HDMI-based external devices, then this may work for you.

I was using another brand of universal remote but decided to try this and purchase the lifetime license. After a few months I can say that it works as advertised and provides a good workaround for most of my remotes. I still have to use the receiver remote to change some settings, but overall this is very well done.

Tried them all, all the expensive options, Caavo out performs them all. Simple easy set up. Works perfectly, voice control perfect. Don't be fooled thinking expensive is better. Caavo is inexpensive and the best solution for your universal needs.

You can never have enough Hdmi inputs. With TV having only 3 to 4 inputs this thing is definitely a must. I love that it automatically recognized all my devices and did not have to do anything extra to control them. Love that I can use one remote for my shield, apple TV and firestick..

First off, I love this thing. From setup to use, it’s been great! The cons list I have still aren’t enough to drop a star: - No colored buttons for TiVo, so commercial skipping is a pain now. - During setup, it refused to update over wifi, I had to resort to ethernet when my AC 2x2 MIMO hotspot is 6 feet away in same room? - Harmony doesn’t support it, so I cannot get back my green skip button - No TiVo DVR support (yet, they say it’s coming!) - Only 4 HDMI input ports (add support for daisy chaining, or something, please!) Now, why, with all those misgivings do I still love this thing? It makes finding my shows so much easier. In a region where Comcast is the lone provider with CableCARD support, I often get frustrated trying to establish which devices I’m allowed to access which premium content channel’s app from. Caavo solves that! Seriously, I’m very close to dropping cable because my provider has so many restrictions on how I can access the service I pay for! You're shooting yourselves in the foot, Xfinity!

Really easy setup. Works great with my DirecTV, Roku, Chromecast, and PS3. As advertised, you will only need one remote going forward. If you’re considering Caavo pull the trigger!

This thing is probably the best hdmi switch on the market. The only issue i have with it is that our is not a true universal remote. It only controls what is connected to it. I wish it could change the TVs inputs. Hopefully they add that feature in the future. Overall it works as advertised

Great product. Easy to set up and use. Very responsive and quick. Some features, like sonos volume control fails often, but for the most part reliable. Again it’s useful and convenient to have, but it isn’t revolutionary nor do I see the product improving much from where it’s at.

I have used many Universal Remote Controls over the years. Up to date the Logitech Harmony with Hub was my preferred solution. Caavo changed everything. It is the first really smart and easy to use remote for all family members and it works flawlessly. It looks good, feels good in the hands and although it has no lights it uses a smart trick to help you navigate your buttons. I have to admit I was really surprised how well Caavo works.

Works well as a switch between HDMI inputs. Easy set up and seems to work as promised. I only gave it 4 stars because I am using Apple TV with it and there are some glitches between the 2. Other than that, definitely a good investment if you need more HDMI inputs than your TV came with.

Works pretty much like it should. I especially like being able to assign certain streaming apps to specific streaming devices. Took one star because it can be a little slow to switch between devices and sometimes the sound does not start right away when opening a video on certain apps.

This has great potential to be the greatest remote but its not there yet. It takes a lot of patience to set up. Then its not right. I keep playing with it and hopefully more updates will get it there. Would recommend to a friend with a a liitle compute knowledge and lots of patience

So I decided to pay the 1.99 monthly service fee. The voice control works most of the time. There is a display that shows apps. My major problems is that if you hook your paid tv service to the Caavo then you lose the ability to view on demand movies and shows. As well there is no way to watch any pay per view. It does recommend movies but it uses a line display, I prefer a visual display. It recommends movies that I have already seen or that are already on my saved list. I haven't really had a wow experience with this box.

After frustration with logitech garbage, this remote hit the spot. Simple to install and it actually controls my receiver, Apple TV, blue ray player, and projector flawlessly
