Great game to play with the boys, keeps us going as a family between fishing trips

When I first got this game I did my research and found that this game is the pinnacle of the Cabela line. The campaign mode of this game is fun but frustrating at times. The fun part of the game is the ease of the shot. The game definitely has the ability to give you the feeling that you are on a hunt. It is a little easy at times but fun none the less. The guide will walk you through everything and when you take a good shot the game goes into bullet time where you see the bullet's trajectory and hit the animal. The frustrating part is campaign has markers that you have to walk to but there were times that I walk into the area of the marker, see the animal that I was supposed to shoot, shoot the animal and would fail because I didn't hit the marker. On top of that, the game wouldn't give an indication that I failed because I didn't hit the marker, it would just say that the animal got away. During the campaign mode there will be off shoots to go fishing that feels a bit rushed and more of a speed bump to get through to go and hunt. The trophy mode is more like actual hunting but with a time limit. It takes all of the skills that you learn in the campaign and makes you use them. I thought it would have been better if there wasn't a time limit in place. There would be times that I was hunting for the trophy animal and would run out of time before I found the animal. Overall I had a fund time playing the game and I think it off-sets the frustrating times.
