Awesome new range in the Cafe GE family of products. This one was rated high and does so much more than just a microwave. As a convection oven it will be my back up to my range while cooking for large parties! Love how quiet and even it cooks!

The microwave itself is ok however the materials of GE have gone down. The handle is plastic. It hasn't even been a year and the handle is already broken. I've had GE before, no problems. For the cost, I'm disappointed by the quality. The microwave is still under warranty.

This "premium" microwave has a lot of quality issues. This is the second time the cheap plastic handle broke off in the course of normal use. This thing is a lemon... DO NOT BUY!

It has been a good microwave so far. Make sure you reposition the exhaust fan if you are not venting outside. I like the knob to dial in most of the settings. The is replacing an old GE microwave. I sure hope to get as many years out of this one. It is on the expensive side.

I replaced our appliances several weeks before Thanksgiving. As part of an unrelated story, the old stove was removed about a week before the new one came - and this week happened to be Thanksgiving week. So we had to rely completely on this microwave to make the most of our Thanksgiving dinner. Size constraints aside, the microwave saved the day by delivering a fully cooked and delicious (albeit small) turkey. There is not much this thing cannot do. Fully recommend.

I bought this microwave a little bit more than a year ago as part of overall kitchen remodeling. We got all GE Cafe appliances and I didn't pay attention to the microwave, assuming for this money it can't be bad. Wrong. It can. It is. First - it's a very uncomfortable microwave to use. Entering cook time is a hassle. There is no 1-6 min express buttons that are universally used in every other MV oven in the world. You have to use rotating knob. But as befuddling as it is, the knob can't be just rotated to set the time, you have to press the Time button, then rotate the knob, then press the knob to enter the time. or press 30 seconds 5-6 times - that's what we've been doing. Second - the build quality is astonishingly poor. The first thing we've noticed that the door handle does not match the rest of Cafe appliances. For this sort of money I expected a solid steel bar like the one on refrigerator, oven and dishwasher. Aren’t they all a member of the same series? But instead your hand grabs a super-cheap, flimsy plastic tube that's not even made of a solid piece. It's a sheet of plastic wrapped into a tube shape without being even welded. If you squeeze it you feel the handle moving in your hand. And today, a bit more than a year from the purchase and just few months after the manufacturer warranty expired the handle just came off the microwave. Now I have to fix it myself or pay for the repairs. I can't tell how much I'm disappointed with this single worst appliance I ever paid for and I advise everyone against buying anything GE. It’s a shame they charge so much for such poor appliance.

Seems to be a great unit, still need to hang up but wanted to test it first. Don't like the plastic door compared to our 1997 top of the line GE Profile Convection but it so far as done a great job and matches our recent Cafe oven and dishwasher. Those too have been great especially the gas range double oven for a third of the price. Very very happy so far!

Microwaves are microwaves, and this does a fine job. I am really impressed with the oven feature. It heats up my quicker than my older and more expensive advantium and have used it as a 2nd oven. So far so good.

Love how easy it is to work. But..Don't like that I have to take out the metal rack during microwaving. We use it more than the confection backing.

Our prior Microwave/Convection died.. So did the one before it. All in too short a lifetime. Hopefully this great machine will do better. But just for safety, we purchased the BestBuy extended warranty. Hopefully we won't need it for a very long time. Machine works fine / hopefully it will last.

Had a GE Profile sensor microwave before and loved it, but this Cafe one is so much better. Steamed vegatables are now so easy. Have not tried a casserole yet, but cannot wait. Such a time saver.

We really like the Cafe Series of products was simple to install and great upgrade with quick cook options. Great addition. Just wished it matched the stainless on Cafe oven better

Its awesome, you can mix it into a kitchen that has stainless steel appliances perfectly cause of the ss handle and its got the best steam oven!

My 10 year old Ken more elite had more power than this expensive thing. We got the whole cafe suite.

One of the best microwaves on the market. Best Buy price matched and delivered to my home at no cost.

This is a replacement for the same microwave. It works well and is also a convection oven which was a lifesaver when my oven stopped working on Christmas Day.
