Check out the reviews, compare to LG, and think long and hard about going for aesthetic over quality and function with this GE line. I have been a big fan of GE and Cafe in particular for years, but this product line has given me tremendous pause and made me question why GE's quality is so significantly eroded. The dishwasher does a good job of cleaning dishes and holds a fair amount. It is fairly quiet, though if I am in the kitchen I find myself wondering if it is raining. The product looks expensive, but feels cheap. The doo feels flimsy and never feel like it is actually closed. Unlike past GE units that provided a satisfying weight and thump on closing, this door feels almost like plastic and never feels closed. Furthermore, the top rack broke after about 3 months of use. GE did replace the rack, which I appreciated. The controls are logical and easy to use. Overall, if you want the aesthetic the machine is adequate, but if you are accustomed to higher end quality like Cafe usually provides, look elsewhere.

Happy with my GE

I have been extremely pleased with the cleaning and drying it performs. I love the height and depth of the racks. I had a Bosch 800 series for 5 years before this and I prefer this one over my Bosch so far. Bosch did not live up to their standards at all.

The dishwasher has many different settings and is very sturdy. It’s also very quiet when we use it. Highly recommend all GE Cafe appliances!

The wash cycle is amazing and with the extended cycle adds bottle jets and extra dry time so I never see any spots. For the money this is a great choice, I highly recommend this Dishwasher.
