Works Well with a few flaws

Pros: multiple sized (physical and heat output) burners provide good choices for different cooking needs and pan sizes. Heavy and solid knobs reduce possibility of damage when removing for cleaning. Good options for oven broiling and convection modes. Cons: the range has some nooks and crannies making it hard to cleanup food spills. The spark igniter is exposed when the burner heads are removed which makes it a bit hard to avoid when cleaning. The oven self-cleaning modes seem to do an inadequate job compared to previous oven. The WiFi connectivity is marginally useful. The temperature display for the oven doesn't show current temperature once the target temperature has been reached.

I originally purchased this as an "open box" in excellent condition. However upon delivery the left bottom side was completely bent/dented so had to return it. I went to talk with Bill at the store who arranged for a new stove to be delivered. Talk about customer complete satisfaction! As am a true, loyall dedicated customer since Bill solved my issue without fail. As for the stove, it works phenomenally well. It quickly heats water to a boil very quickly as compared to my electric stove previously (which I purchased as an "open box" 10 years ago!) The oven & broiler cooks evenly with dishes such as pizza, lasagna, chicken, casseroles & fish. You have to make changes as noted on various blogs/you tube videos re: gas ovens but it's a learning process..) The clock & digital display functions work as designed. My only minor gripe is the alarm for the timer is not loud enough for my likening

I love this stove. It wipes clean beautifully. I love the frozen pizza feature that allows me to cook a pizza perfectly without preheating the oven. My favorite part is the WIFI. Can’t believe I’m saying that! But I spend a lot of time outside so the notifications that the oven is preheated or timer is done is awesome!

I like this unit. It is attractive and after a month of use I find it well designed. I learned the hard way there are several key features in this kind of range (dodged a bullet with the purchase and then before-15-day return of the Jenn-Air version). The front panel must be more or less vertical, not horizontal or you can't see the clock from across the room, it gets covered in cooking grease and the knobs get uncomfortably hot to touch when the front burners are used. Check. The griddle must have sufficient burner power or it is semi-useless and this unit has the best solution of any in its price range with a total of 6 useful burners rather than the more standard 4 useful and 1 oddly shaped useless one. Check. I did not give it 5 stars for two reasons. The first is that while the stock griddle is a wonderfully solid chuck of cast iron it comes with a surface so rough it would take years to season, so I had to spend an entire morning grinding it smooth with a power sander. Second, and this is a problem with the entire market of these kinds of ranges, the cooling fan (not the convection fan) is very loud, on the order of 75 decibels. I got the level down to a more ignorable 70 db by taking the back sheet metal off, installing sound deadener on the fan shroud and replacing the sheet metal while ensuring it was tensioned against itself. Further quieting could be achieved by a little more careful engineering of the intake surfaces. I feel like for $3000 GE should have done this engineering (and ground down the griddle) for me.

The range seems to cook evenly both on the cooktop and the oven. Was skeptical of the digital settings but setting temp, timer and all works very easily. I was disappointed because I thought the griddle was both a griddle on one side and a grill on the reverse, it was not. I'm happy with my choice.

Overall This is a really good Oven. It is very Stylish and Makes the Kitchen stand out. The Oven doesn't heat up as quick or hot as my 20 Year old Maytag. Honestly, they don't make Appliances like they used to.

Stove has lots of top space for large and small pans. Quick Boil is amazing. Only bad thing is that I can see that it will scratch very easily if not taken care of.
