The Café Drip coffee maker is a premium coffee maker with some great features. The stainless-steel look to the coffee maker, really makes it stand out with quality. The carafe has a nice rose gold handle combined with stainless steel all around it. The front of the coffee maker has a small built-in display that blends within the machine, so much that you don’t even notice it until you plug it. The display shows the time, as well as the menu features. The Café comes with a bagless filter, as well as regular filters in case you choose to use those. Setting up the Café is a breeze. The manual is very detailed and walks you through the whole process. After setting up the Café, you can then download the SmartHQ app. The app lets connect your machine to WIFI, so you can control the coffee maker through the app. The app works very well and is quite convenient. You can set the brew style, create a scheduled brew time for the week, and select how many cups you want to make. I really enjoy waking up to the smell of fresh coffee every morning. Also, there is a sensor in the machine that can detect if the carafe is in place or not, and if it’s not, it won’t brew your coffee creating a mess everywhere. The Café has many different settings for how you can brew your coffee. The main setting is called Gold Setting, this makes your coffee the optimal flavor and temperature. If you’re like me and like your coffee strong and bold, then there’s also a setting for that. I must say, I really like both the gold and bold settings. Both settings taste very rich and very fresh. The Café lets you make up to 10 cups of coffee in a single brew, and like I mentioned before, the coffee won’t brew unless you have the carafe in place. Overall, I really love the Café Drip coffee maker. With the stainless steel and rose gold, it looks absolutely stunning. The carafe is great, it can hold up to 10 cups of coffee. Plus, it keeps the coffee hot on the inside, yet it stays cool to touch on the outside, so you don’t burn yourself. The built it WIFI letting you control your coffee maker through the app is very useful. And I love how I can create a schedule on the fly in the app. Lastly, it makes great coffee that tastes very rich and bold. I would definitely recommend the Café Drip to anyone looking for a new coffee maker.

A mix between a pod style coffee maker and standard drip maker that uses regular ground coffee and filters. You can choose to brew one cup in just over a minute or 10 cups in less than 6 minutes. You can select your strength and temperature or stick with the gold settings making a perfect blend. The brushed stainless steel and copper gives this coffee maker a look that stands out compared to typical coffee makers. The vacuum sealed carafe really keeps the temperature and flavor for several hours. Even after 24 hours the coffee still held a temperature that was greater than my hot tap water. The one thing I don’t like about the carafe is that it takes some effort to get the last bit of the liquid out and it is really noticeable if you only brew one cup. The WiFi feature is only useful if you don’t know when you plan to brew coffee and already have water, filter and grounds in the maker. So, for instance, you want to brew a pot before you walk through the door but set it all up before you left. Just as you head home, start the brew through the SmartHQ app and have a fresh pot waiting for you. But, considering it takes less than 6 minutes to brew a full 10 cups it seems like a useless feature that raises the price. . Overall it is a great looking coffee maker and the ability to select your brew makes it better than a standard machine. But, it is hard for me to personally justify the cost for the features it does have.

If you are a household of coffee drinks, drip machines are much less expensive to operate over a year than pre-fabricated pods (although we have a machine). But in this brave new pod-dominated world drip coffee machine options and quality have taken a huge hit. We went through three machines before finding this one. But, it is perfect. Out of the box I could use it without reading any instructions, the controls are that intuitive. The construction is so solid that I noticed if I leave the lid shut, over the coffee grounds compartment (after removing the grounds), it’s still damp inside nearly 24 h later. So, now I leave it open to air out. Also, remarkably, steam doesn’t seem to escape while it’s brewing. Talk about solid construction! And there are thoughtful design touches like the fact that you can (super easily) unlock and remove the steam basket for cleaning. This will help a lot with the taste of the coffee over time as plastic can absorb that stale coffee smell. They’ve clearly thought about the trade offs between ease of use and functionality all aimed toward a single purpose—easily and consistently creating the best possible cup of coffee. Our family of coffee drinkers couldn’t be happier with the results. And when more caffein fiends were over for brunch this past weekend (mostly Nespresso drinkers) they ended up foregoing their favorite, even though I’d just ordered some of their favorite pods, for this new brew. Interesting.

We’re in the market to replace our full suite of kitchen appliances and are considering the Cafe line, so we thought starting with the coffeemaker would be a good entry point to get a feel for design and functionality. As other reviewers have noted, this machine is beautiful and the coffee tastes fantastic. The packaging is top-notch. I love the white lighting, though not crazy about the ring around the brew button constantly pulsating if auto-brew isn’t turned on. A few cons that we’ve uncovered in the 24 hours that we’ve owned this product: 1. The auto schedule on the app does not work. We set the machine to brew 5 cups at 6:45am and nothing happened - not a great start to the day. The instant brew on the app does work, but no amount of testing/adjusting the scheduling feature produced any coffee. The auto brew button on the machine works, but only allows you to set one time and must be activated daily vs setting a recurring weekly schedule as the app is meant to do. 2. The power cord on the white model is black. 3. Another reviewer mentioned the clock updates automatically when connected to wi-fi - this is not the case for us. After unplugging the machine, it reconnected to wi-fi but did not reset the time. 4. Carafe design makes it challenging to get the last of the coffee out without tipping fully upside-down and dripping on the counter. I suspect we’ll brew 1-2 cups more than we need daily for a clean pour over our cups and then dump the rest in the sink. Deducting one star for app functionality given one of the selling features was the ability to set a recurring schedule. Hoping this is a glitch in the app that will be resolved (and users notified of the fix) vs something wrong with the product itself. At this price point, I expect the product to work as advertised, and the experience does have me questioning if I want to invest in the full major appliance line by Cafe in the future.

This is an excellent coffee maker, it's virtually silent and very quick to brew. Wake up early sometimes, not a problem, turn it on with you cellphone. It's a superb machine, I really like it, oh..and it looks amazing.

I waited a month before writing a review. Wish they had 4.5 as I do love the coffee maker but find the instructions to be lacking. I had to experiment to get my coffee to even start. There is not a button that says "start", it says "Brew/select"...so maybe not user friendly. It took many versions of pushing buttons for the time and my desired coffee setting. I'm still not sure I'm doing it correctly. What I thought was very interesting is that they mention coffee settings for high altitude! It makes perfect sense since water boils at a lower temperature at high altitude. I am 7,200 feet. So interesting, it is recommended not to use the "gold" setting but to use the "bold" setting for high altitude. I get a perfect cup of coffee everytime. I am single and usually only make 4 cups which turns out to be 2 mugs (almost), but the perfect amount for me. The pot is beautiful and looks great on the counter next to my matching Cafe dishwasher and range, all white with copper handles. I recommend this coffee maker but a warning it only makes 10 cups and that would be actually around 5 or 6. It does brew quietly and quickly. Perfect for a couple or single person. The carafe does not feel warm on the outside when brewing is done, actually it is cool, which feels strange. But the coffee inside is warm and stays warm for about an hour. I like my cup of coffee immediately after it is brewed so this is not important to me. I save the second cup for later in the day to have with ice and a dash of Vodka...very good in summer and in winter I will make milk foam and heat up the coffee later in the day. I am hoping the white does not stain with continued use, as I will be particular about that. I wash with soapy water and rinse well after each use. Quite expensive and a month later it was on sale for less. Oh well.

if you want a fancy looking coffee maker with wifi then this is the one for you- not gonna do a lengthy review just straight to the point.- pros piping hot coffee that stays hot in the pot for a while, makes good coffee fairly fast at the exact amount that you wan, THE END. Cons over priced i believe it has a pump of some sort thats something that will fail over time setting up manually takes some getting use to, the wifi password is on the back not the bottom like the instructions say once the app is set up easier to use brews a whopping 42oz 10 cup of brew so be prepared to make multiple pots. its a nice coffee maker but not $350 nice

This is a very attractive coffee maker. It makes the coffee fast and it tastes incredible (I use the Gold setting). The set up is very straight forward and the brewing process is very simple. It connects via wifi and automatically sets the time for you. Outside of that I don't see the smart features being very useful. My one criticism of this coffee maker is the carafe. It is not very well insulated and the coffee gets too cool after only about 30 minutes. Overall I am happy with the performance and if the carafe were better I would give this 5 stars.

#therealreview I’ve seen a lot of diverging reviews in here and wanted to clear the air. If looks could kill, this coffee maker does it. But form is better than function for the price point. Why should you buy this one? If you are going with the white kitchen countertop appearance, it’s hard the beat the sleek, elegant look of this coffee maker. The white and bronze accents are tough to beat. Blends seamless with a kitchen complete with Cafe appliances as well. The unit cleans surprising well also, no coffee stains on the white thermos or coffee maker after of month of use. The thermos is not heated, but the vacuum seal keeps the coffee HOT for four hours. If that’s problematic, then I might suggest making less coffee in a batch. The coffee maker is quick and quiet too. It takes about a minute or two to brew a six cup pot. My biggest complaint is that if you want to make more than six cups, the brew basket overflows the grounds into the water dispenser and it’s a little more intensive to clean. Six cups of coffee is the magic number for this unit. The flavor is good, but doesn’t compare to a chemex pour over. This is what i transitioned from. The trade off is the speed and convenience for a minimalistic look and great taste. The looks, speed, and retaining of heat of all pluses in my book, but wish it still had the pour over flavor. The price point is high on this one and there are plenty of sleek options out there. If you need a white coffee maker, this one might be the best option out there though. I would buy again.

The coffee maker is beautiful and makes really good coffee. I’m surprised how good is is considering I usually make pour overs. But when I have to get up early and go through all the process of pour over it would be nice to have something already ready. It’s nice touch the WiFi feature. Tells you when your coffee is done and it’s easy to program on your phone. Coffee stays pretty hot for about 4 hrs.

This coffee maker, with it's brushed stainless and copper accents, is very nice looking on the counter. It has great features including brew strength and temperature options. Another nice feature is that the cord can be wrapped underneath to minimize the amount that sticks out. The directions were a little difficult to understand, but once figure out how to select strength, temperature and quantity - is easy to do. I gave it four stars because the WiFi seems very unneeded and I would like to see the water tank be removable for easy filling. Overall, very happy with features and the stylish design. The packaging was very nice and practical also. Most importantly - the coffee tastes great!

Pros -Great look, easy to clean, brews great coffee. Cons- filter basket is hard to figure out at first, but easy after that. Carafe does not stay hot as long as needed, coffee gets cold too quickly and at max temp its too cool within 20 min or so, besides that we love it.

The Café Drip coffee maker is the champion of drip coffee makers I have ever been introduced to. Right out the box the machine produces the best tasting coffee with its "Gold" Brew Standard but what makes it fun is being able to select different brews, especially going to a light brew for people who dont like strong coffee. I also have the option of changing the temperature which makes all the difference when you want that full aroma and taste to be released and extracted. I really am impressed with this coffee maker since it makes the best coffee but I can do it from my bed when i wake up in the morning with auto-brew or using my app which also works with my Google assistant!! ITS AMAZING and makes my day go easier. It should also be noted that this coffee maker produces coffee pretty fast so no waiting around long time which I love. I recommend this to my coffee lovers, you will not be disappointed!!

Certified by the coffee experts. The machine is very quiet when brewing. Excellent coffee every time. The coffee stays very hot for a long time. The machine design looks good on your counter top.

I love the pot over all. This is the first one I’ve ever owned that didn’t have a glass carafe and this has been a learning curve. Lol. Before, you could see if it was empty or needed to be rinsed out. Not so much with this unit. I’ve forgotten to empty it many times and this has been a problem with. I love the WIFI option as I can lay in bed, ease into the day and start my coffee before even getting up. However, the pot isn’t empty and you brew a fresh new pot, you will start your day cleaning up up a huge mess as the pot will over flow. This is no fault of the pot, just one thing to consider. Otherwise, it brews a great cup and stays hot for a long time without burning it.

Few design flaws: when brewing 10 cups, grinds always overflow the basket/filter, splashes up on the drip mechanism, just aggravating to clean both. The carafe is sturdy/nicely designed, but only retains hot coffee for a short while. This machine does not have a warming plate, so coffee is hottest immediately after brewed. The two lifting tops over the water reservoir and the grinds basket both drip condensation water down the outside of the machine when lifted, another thing that has to be constantly wiped up. Coffee is very good, gold setting produces good flavor, but I tend to go for the hottest setting because of the heat retainage issues described above. Digital programming and app features are cool, but pretty much stopped using them as they are not practical in daily use for me.

Yes, this item is pricey for a coffemaker, but it’s worth it. It makes great coffee, all the features work well and it is beautiful. It looks perfect on my white countertops. The cord being black is stupid though. It gets 4 stars due to price and being able to see the black cord through the water container.

This machine looks beautiful on our counter and makes incredible-tasting coffee. Would highly recommend. Keeps our coffee warm for hours without tasting burt.

It's a good coffee pot and has a lot of great features. I particularly like the ability to manage it on the app. However the display on the coffee maker does not hold up with time. Please see photo attached.
