Look, it’s Call of Duty... as someone who hasn’t played a COD game since MW3, I find this game rather fun. Fantastic graphics, the tactical animation of player movement and reloading creates a more immersive feel. Like any game with multiplayer, there can be toxicity in the gaming community. Sometimes you just wanna pull your hair out after getting spawn camped for the 5th time in a row. But the beauty is, it’s just a GAME. Got it on sale too plus a $5 off coupon so I paid $32. If I had paid full price or purchased one of the more expensive editions I’d probably feel let down by the content. Advice, never pay full price for a game. Brand new AAA titles will all eventually go on sale and you’ll get much more bang for your buck.

One year after Black ops 4 we finally get campaign mode back. Well worth the wait. Graphics are the best in the series. The way the game is presented gets you feeling like you're part of the it. The camera angles as well as the cinema clips shows how much the gaming industry has progressed. When it comes to sound effects , you can tell they did their research. One thing that does stand out though is the voices in game they are recorded at a high volume so they tend to get distorted, almost like the highs speakers are broken and you hear the crackling in them. Multiplayer has changed up as well compared to the previous game. Bigger maps, different levels of altitude (hopefully you understand), and countless hiding spots for your campers, make this game a much much slower paced, smarter thinking and honestly more of a raging game. The one thing I do not like here though is the effects of explosions. When they happen, the explosion look like first generation consoles. U can clearly see the bad pixels! Please fix this.

I’m really impressed with this years call of duty, the campaign is incredible! Multiplayer is awesome with a lot of variety. This game looks absolutely amazing on the Xbox one x!

The multiplayer is some of the most fun I’ve had in the series in easily 5 years. Graphics are great and the campaign grips you like a big budget action movie. A-/B+

The campaign mode was OK and the multiplayer is good for a while but does get repetitive after some time. One year down the road i dont know that i would buy it as im not sure how much longer they will be updating it.

Though the cross platform is a pretty amazing feature and a big reason I bought this game, there are still some bugs with it I am sure they will be able to iron out. Where I will be in a lobby with friends on another system and we will join a game but when that game finishes and we go back to the lobby, either I myself get removed from the lobby or one or two of my friends do. Graphics and sound effects are really great! Annoying thing is as with the standard COD type games is; no strategy and lots of people sitting in corners and just waiting for you to come around so they can blast you! But still fun to hop into some games if you are just looking for some fast action and a shoot-em-up type game. Haven’t been able to try the campaign mode yet so I can’t review yet.

Amazing story. Killer ganeplay, graphics and performance. Addictive and fun multiplayer. Get some friends and enjoy.

The campaign is very good. Enjoyed it very much. But man the multiplayer is annoying. The maps are terrible and the camping is a serious problem. But I'm still going to play it lol. Still fun.

I bought two copies as two of my sons wanted. Buying the physical cheaper than digital head-scratcher but oh well. The Gameplay is fun and the graphics engine is great. Multiplayer seems to be the draw these days and on this game, it is not any less if not better than other Multiplayer shooters. I would recommend for anyone who likes this genre of games given we all have some extra time on our hands. Game On, Stay Home. 2020 LockDown.

The campaign is outstanding -- graphics, production, story, gameplay -- and the multiplayer is as strong as ever. Some people are dissatisfied with the maps going away from a simple and traditional 3 lane map that CoD are famous for, but I think the changes have been great for the series, in order that it doesn't feel like just a reskin. There are moments for run-n-gun and moments for tactical choices, but it stays wonderfully fun throughout.

First, I am biased as I do love the Call of Duty Franchise and in particular the Modern Warfare story lines (including MW, MW2 from years ago). With Captain Price being one of my favorite characters from MW2, this was easy to be excited about. While I have not completed the game or have had a significant amount of time to play, the play time I have had has not disappointed. Great story so far and the graphics are awesome.

I have been waiting for another modern warfare series for almost 8+ years (MW3 came out in 2011). I have purchased almost every COD release since then but found myself only playing for a few days and getting bored. I can tell you that I’ve had this since release day and am addicted! In my opinion, this is the best modern warfare in a long time. Campaign is wonderful as well as multiplayer!

Campaign is good. Not too many bad bugs playing online. Multiplayer is good.

I didn't start playing Modern Warfare until MW3 but I became a huge fan of series. The Modern Warfare series, in my opinion, has better campaigns then Black ops series. The gameplay has that classic style and it also caters to the beginners who don't really keep up with the shooters as much as the followers. The main reason I purchased was the campaign and co-ops. Great fun factor!

I was an old school COD fan. Hated the last 4 that they released and actually sold my Xbox as I was accepting the old age part of life where “games aren’t just what they used to be” mentality. Then they launched this. Waited a month after it’s released to see if it was just another trash game but when I heard it’s like the old ones with suped up graphics . I was sold. Literally went out and bought a new system and this and I tell ya, it’s worth it. There’s too much to brag about but in short if you loved the old ones , you’ll love this . Will be playing this for years until they come out with another like it.
