you expect a game to be better when they release a new edition of a game you like. cod4 was the most addicting game of all time for me. world at war is a great game and would have seemed even better if it would have come out first but since it didn't it was a let down. it is still a great game but when the bar is set so high it is hard to get back up to game of the year status. can't wait for the next COD.

This is by far the best COD in the series and it is so easy to pick up and play. Starting out, the graphics are amazing and the sound effects put you into the game. It's gone back to the WWII theme which is very cool. There are so many different guns and there's tons of stuff to customize. They added tanks to drive and shoot from which is a very cool upgrade. By far best game Ive played this year.

This game is amazing, from the first shots of SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN and the FINAL PRESTIGE of MULTIPLAYER ONLINE. The campaign story mode is amazing: the easy difficulty you can breeze through and the toughest difficulty can have you sitting there for months, and the middle ones are perfect. Online play can't be beat. Online is the centerpiece to this game, its A MUST BUY!!!

Given it is one of the best games about WW2 but only because of graphics and just the COD franchise but a more modern take would have been better. Plus more missions. I beat the game three times already on different difficulty levels in less than 6 hours each time and I'm not even a hardcore gamer.

I think that this game was really, well fun. it has many new features and things which really add to it. if you liked the previous Call OF Duty games you will definately like this one. the maps are incredible and well planned out with hiding spots of all kinds. it really is a great game and you will not regret buying it. :)

Call of Duty 5 is a great game for the PS3. If you have never played a call of duty game before, i suggest doing storymode before online play to get the hang of it. Once you get the hang of it, it gets really addicting. The graphics are amazing and way better than the Xbox360/Wii.

I bet there are a lot out there who will not read this, but I feel an obligation to write this. I bought this game today along with SOCOM and SOCOM blew this game out of the water in MY EYES! I enjoy playing the game and became a huge fan after COD4, but it feels like they took COD4 and just changed the characters and maps. Yea there are new guns and you can drive a tank, but REALLY? I loved COD4 because it was able to walk the fine line of fantasy and reality, but in this game its crossed over the line in MY EYES. It’s a great game to play online, but if you are looking for a realistic game that has a feel for combat like the real thing, THIS IS NOT THE GAME. But if you just looking for a fast paced shot-em up game, this is it. Hope this helped. Enjoy

I just recently bought Call of Duty: WaW and I was very pleased. The controls are great, the online gameplay is delightful and I am absolutely obsessed with this game. Everyone I have on my online friends list on my PS3 ha sthis game and even if you're playing with someone you don't know, its just as fun.

Overall this game is amazing! The story mode is great, and the online is very fun. The only problem with this game is that you can choose what type of match you want to play, but you can't choose what party you want to join when playing online. But overall it is just a typical Call of Duty game. (Awesome)

I'll start with my biggest issue with this game, the multiplayer, the guns are unbelievably unbalanced, only in hardcore is where it is balanced, the other mode is horrible, the submachine guns are the ONLY good guns in the game. but, zombies on the other hand is very enjoyable. i spent most of the time playing zombies, if you get the new zombie map, trust me, you will be playing it for hours, its great, i cant say enough good things about shi no numa. the campaign was great in the end, the begging was repetitive and boring. this game is not worth 59.99, wait for a price drop cause this game does not have enough replay value or enjoyment, if you want a great game, get cod 4, cod 4 is better than this game at every possible way

At first I was mad because it is not modern warfare, but it is a great game though. Now I have 2 excellent games at home. If I feel like second world war I play COD world at war, and if I feel like kill with modern guns COD4 is the perfect game. So this is a must have game for me and definetly for you.

Love this game. I really go back and forth from COD World at War and COD Modern Warfare. Both are great but World at War offers a better Multiplayer. I think the developer or is refusing to add new levels to Warfare to ensure people move on to World at War. Either way you wont be disappointed.

this is the best game ever for the ps3. if you like war games and bloody zombie games, BUY THIS GAME NOW. my favorite part is the nzi zombies. never gets old. campains a little short tho. online is cool. rankin up keeps things cool, then theres prestige mode. overall, it is really great.

I got this game for christmas and was not dissapointed at all... this game has everything great gameplay, great storyline, historicallly accurate, and is tons of fun. Even after beating the game there is another game mode you can unlock called zombies which is very addictive with friends.

Call of Duty World At War is going to be a great coop game with great graphics and fun gameplay. I don't like how they're going back to world war 2 because there will not be any red dot scopes or acog scopes. Overall, this game will be a great coop game.

Years after its release its still a really good game. Set within world war II. Really enjoyed the characters and gameplay. Enjoyed how the game could change with saving certain characters and 2 ending depending on final choices.

I bought this game, played it and loved it. I mostly play online but the story is awesome. The WW2 atmosphere seems realistic. The guns take getting used to but there really is no other issues. If you like Call Of Duty, and other types of FPS, you should check this out.

I bought this game to help pass the time until Modern Warfare 2 is released thinking it would be fun. What a waste of money. I should of just kept playing Modern Warfare. I just don't really like this game compared to Modern Warfare or any other FPS. The only positive I can say about this game is the graphics and the solo missions are fun. But if you have played one Call of Duty game you know that these are fairly short and not long enough to fully feel like you got your money's worth for a single player game. The online gameplay is horrible. Not my favorite FPS. I was kind of disappointed. I don't see why everyone is all excited about this video game.

Call of Duty is the best shooter game in the market. If you did your research you would see that CODWAW is more than a 4 person online play. I know this game is going to be great just like the rest of them. I look forward to playing online and can't wait to kill you.

I have played Call of Duty: World At War almost every day now for the last couple of months. The graphics are awesome and playing online with friends is great. Even though they just came out with a map pack, I wish they had a few more. Its very easy to play.
