The poor star ratings are from individuals that obviously don't know that they have to first "season" the cast iron pan before they use it otherwise everything will stick to it and as soon as you get a little water on it it will begin to rust. Look up "how to properly season a cast iron pan" on YouTube to learn how to season your pan the right way. A ++++++++
