Very nice toaster. All metal construction, except nobs. Lighted dial. This is how they use to make them.

This toaster is gray metal rather than cheap plastic. The toaster adjustment knob has lights around it that displays the progress of the toaster setting. The metal can become warm when toasting, but I did not find it a bother. I prefer the gray metal (not stainless steel) as it does not show fingerprints, etc. like stainless steel does. The toaster has an adjustable mechanism that grasps the bread and holds it to the middle so that both sides toast evenly. The toaster is 850 watts and does a very good job toasting. Reviews on other toasters said many were declining in their quality, but I feel this a a high-quality product that I would recommend to others.

Absolutely love this toaster! It took a bit of time to adjust to the differences between my older one and the upgrades this one has, but it was time well spent. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

There is really no reason to not give this product 5 stars. It’s made very well and functions very well. Not mostly plastic like some other toasters.

Toasters are so different today than when I bought my last one. And they have more features, which makes it difficult to sift through them all and get one that is dependable. Picked this one because of the wide slots -- people in my household love toasted bagels and this one works wonderfully. I also like the way it browns bread. On my old toaster, I could have it set to its max level and the break would be okay. I set this one to 3 and the break is evenly and wonderfully toasted. Really glad that I picked this one.

Solid heavy construction. Makes excellent toast for bread or english muffins. Worth the extra cost from most toasters

My wife says she loves it. It toast evenly and you couldn’t beat it because of the clearance price and two days later it was sold out.

Toaster works good breads and other items get really hot making them melt in your tummy. Toaster is easy to clean

An excellent toaster and the settings are very helpful along with the LED indicator on the toasting progress time. Very nice also for larger widths such as bagels.

Just switched over from breville and couldn't be happier. This toaster is fantastic. It toasts very evenly and does not dry out your bread.

Great toaster, bought it to replace our 15 year old toaster. Has toasted everythıng ee have thrown at it to perfection

very disappointed in this toaster. Special order. I put a slice of standard size white bread in the toaster. It popped up very uneven. Front was half brown and bottom white. the other side of toast was not any better. Adjusted the settings several times and the toast still toasted uneven. A real lemon. I will never buy another Calphalon. CJ
