I bought this for my daughter's apartment. It was easy to assemble. The wood was more gray than the brown I ordered.

Do not buy! 2 in a row damaged

My first one was destroyed. The bottom board was broken and split all the way thru. The top corners were smashed. I had to box up, deal with customer service reps who dont speak or understand English, and send back. My second one is broken too. Same spot. The bottom front board is split in 2. Very visible. Broken all the way across. Major pain and so disappinting.
