Customers appreciate the versatility of the Raspberry Pi 4 Basic Kit, praising its increased power and finding it suitable for various projects like building an arcade. They also commend the 4GB RAM, considering it sufficient for most uses. However, some customers express concerns about the requirement for a more powerful power source (3 amps).

Pi 4 as the heart of my in-home information system

I needed this for a "MirrorPi" project. With a touch-screen display, 512 GB memory card and a few cables it's now the heart of the project, and also serves as an in-home web server and e-book distribution point. I can also use it as a music center with the addition of a USB audio adapter and external speakers.

I use this to be a network controller, and atmospheric monitor. It does the job well on all fronts. I do wish the chip architecture was such to allow unmodified operating systems, but the Debian based Linux system is good enough for most things and has wide enough compatibility that it’s rare to find something I can’t do with it.

Awesome product for setting up multiple home projects. 4gb ram compared to the previous models definitely opens up more possibilities. Make sure to use a good case with passive cooling or active cooling

As expected it is much quicker than the RPI3+ predecessor while keeping the same form factor. Product came just as advertised with all the parts.

Raspberry PI 4 4GB.
This board is unavailable for a while as I keep checking Bedtbuy online. As soon it available, I order right away. I already prepare the OS from raspberrypi.org on SD card. I put it in and power up via the included power supply and PI OS came up.
It did not includethe micro HDMI to HDMI which I have to buy separately to connect to monitor.

I now have 2 Raspberry Pi 4b's. They are great retro-gaming machines. You do need to keep them cool however. I have mine cased in Argon One passive-active cases which work fantastically. They never go over about 55C when being used and idle about 40C. They can also be used as simple day-to-day computers for email, browsing, watching videos, etc.

Good basic kit. The Pi 4 is much faster than the Pi 3B in terms of noticeable performance. Kit came with heatsinks, but you'll want to get a fan / case + fan combo too since it can heat up quickly, and when it heats up the CPU automatically slows down to avoid heating up further and causing damage.

I bought this specific listing so that I could buy the other necessary parts (sd card, hdmi cable) separately elsewhere with some coupons. It's a great value for the Pi + an adapter!
This is the first Pi I've ever bought and I have no regrets. I've been playing around with it and there's so much to do/learn!

Purchased to run as an octopi system so I could remotely send files to my 3D printer and monitor/control it. Been running for a few weeks now without any issues, very stable and a super easy install setup process. Aside from it being a little difficult to locate one initially.

Goo basic kit for the Pi 4 if you wanted to use a different case (like I did) and don't mind burning your own SD card. Power supply seems to work well but I wish it had a switch. Easily added for a few bucks.
