    This product is constantly going offline. When i need to depend on it the most it let me down. There is no customer service to call to help trouble shoot. They only help via chat. That sucks too because waiting for an agent took so long that i got old. I should have gotten the NEST CAM instead. ugh ugh ugh

    I will NEVER own another product like this one!!! MUST keep plugged in to get video and most of the time it DOES NOT work!!! Will barely work on WIFI at all!!! I have changed angles and everything!! I got this on sale for $154.00 and now I can not return it!!! So, I have a piece of junk that will not work and no way to purchase a new one!!! DO NOT EVER BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

    If you dont buy the monthly plan it does not work as good. If people would come to my drive way it would not record but if the wind blew hard or an animal would pass it would record it. A little pass a year that I had had it it stopped working completly

    Bought this product for my in-laws who are not technologically savvy. After I set it up, it worked for 6 months and then abruptly stopped. Even though we have the paid Premium service they have no phone technical support. Instead you have to wait 3 business days for an email response as chat is never working. Would not recommend this product.

    Not a fan of this. I was told it would rotate from the app to get different views and that was not the case. When you zoom in even a little the picture turned blurry and grainy. Return the same night

      Canary offers two different video streams with different priorities: Watch Live in the Canary mobile app uses an adaptive video quality technology that prioritizes minimizing the delay from real time. If your network connection isn't as strong, the video bitrate will be reduced in an effort to stay in real time. This can result in grainy video, but our customers have told us that staying in real time is their priority for the Live feed.

      On the other hand, recorded video that appears on your timeline used a fixed high-quality setting, ensuring that key moments ranging from security incidents like a break in to more fun things like your kid's first steps are captured in great detail and clear picture for watching over and over again or sharing with the police.     So I bought the other Canary and it worked pretty fine but for some reason this one does not alert me as it should. It goes to sleep and so it’s not serving the purpose it was bought for.

    I bought it for indoor use i paid 200 dollars for it when i got home in order for me to use it it made me paid a monthly fee or it wouldn't let me view the Camara plus it super laggy

    About a year ago I bought the standard canary to have inside my house so I could both monitor my kids and their babysitter or watch for any potential movement in the house while nobody was home. I had tried the Samsung camera from Costco which went back within a week. This canary right from the start was perfect. It was very easy to set up, loaded both my and my wife's phone number so the Canary knew when to turn on and off and gave us crystal clear video and sound. The camera was so good that it reached out across my living room and through the glass door to catch my contractor taking beers from my outside fridge. He denied it till I showed him the video!!! So after roughly a year I just bought this flex camera to use in the front of my house to possibly catch people stealing packages or any other riff-raff. Once again, pairing the camera took no time at all nor adding it to my system. I'm going to now wait a couple months to make sure everything works perfectly like the first camera and if so, buy another one for my back yard! Definitely a happy customer.

    We could not consistently hear the canary when we traveled more than 1 mile from our home. The voices were constantly broken up. Very poor quality.

    Purchased Indoor/outdoor Canary and All in One Canary. The indoor/outdoor only lasted serveral months outdoors. Was mounted under patio and moisture got into Lens.

    Received my Canary Flex earlier than expected! This is not my first Canary so setup is just as easy as the All-in-One-Home (the original one). Adding a third device to the Canary app was straight forward and detection of the device via wifi was easily done. I was all setup in less than 5 minutes with an update to the software. The quality of the flex is very clear and you can definitely see the difference between the all-in-one and the flex. The Flex you are able to hang it anywhere and in my eyes putting it up top on a corner of a room or a corner of a living room is best. The base is magnetized so I was able to make use of it without drilling a hole on the wall. I also had ordered another Canary and intend to get the Twist Mount for Canary Flex so that I can hang it on a drape Rod for my study room. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the unit and feel it is much more durable and most importantly I like the size of it much better compared to many others.

    A System with Potential Placed Behind a Pay Wall

    I bought a few canary cameras (both the flex and all-in-one indoor camera) a few months ago. Initially, they were great. Setup was easy and for the most part they were somewhat sufficiently configurable. They did have a few flaws and bugs; but, that was not enough to stop me from using them. But, then recently Canary put the majority of the features that used to be free behind a pay wall (even for users that had been using Canary for years). Now, the camera is nothing more than a basic live streaming web cam. Any notifications you receive with the free plan, you are now only able to view a 10 second clip unless you pay approximately $100/year for a subscription. The configurable night mode and away mode are now also behind the pay wall as well. And it would also be important to mention that there has been some degree of service outage every other day for the last several weeks. Canary now expects us to pay $199 for a basic web camera that does not have any useful surveillance features without paying an extra $100/year!? The description of the Canary camera on this website is now also far from accurate!

    The video lags. I was already in the house when it notify my wife that I was home. Doesn't work with google real good
