I have been a big fan of Canary products and service for over a year. During this time it has prevented a burglary in my office and also helped a friend identify burglars in his home (I gifted a canary to him) while his unsuspecting son and girlfriend was on the second floor unaware of first floor burglary. Canary alerted the father while at dinner and father was able to dispatch police and save his son and the sons girlfriend. Highly recommend.

The camera is great when it works. The unit itself sometimes goes offline and you must reset it manually. If you're out of town you're out of luck. Also shadows often trigger it, as well as at times it always trips as soon as I leave the house. Doesn't seem to be learning as it says it should. App is also sometimes very slow, or must be rebooted in order to see what's going on. Mixed feelings about this camera. Considering returning it.

Canary was easy to setup and seems to work fine, it records video when we are not home. Video quality is very good, sound recording is good too. App on iPhone works fine, able to review video. But I am not sure how valuable this gadget really is, I don't think it replaces an alarm system, it just gives you some piece of mind. The video feed is not always very instant, it has also been down once or twice. Since you are 100% dependent on the cloud and on the Canary servers the system fails if the servers are down.

Great security system. Completely wireless. Notifies if activated and video is crystal clear even in total darkness.

I love the wide screen and the night vision. It is clear and especially when it goes dark i can still see clear and the night vision turns on quick. The alarm is real loud. 30 seconds. I use it as an alarm to wake my kids up, jk. I haven’t use the button to call emergency thoe. It was Difficult trying to set it up and To get in contact with customer service is a pain. Its through texting and u get a slow response. Be patient. $10 monthly.

The security system works great. It alerts us when there is movement and we can see what is going on at home even when we aren't there. You can even hear what is going on, just can't talk to home through the unit. are planning on buying more to set throughout the house and garage. Great investment.

I like this item, ease of setup and the features are nice, just wish the price was lower to get a couple more , that's my only reason for four stars instead of five

Video quality is great. If they add zoom/panning, it will be even better. iphone app is also good. A little pricey though.

Does everything I need it to do. Security system and camera works well. Big bonus is the monitoring and remote notifications of my lake house temperature. Beyond wanting to be aware of burglars, I also want to make sure the heat is working and my plumbing won't freeze. If you don't want to pay the monthly fees for archived videos, just download a screen recording app to your phone and do it yourself.

I use the canary with only the free membership option. It does exactly what it advertises. A lot of complaints when canary removed features from free version, but I can tell you its a great camera for the price. Blends in nicely to home decor. No false notifications and has a few extra features like air quality/ temp/humidity notifications. If you find a deal this holiday season, buy one!

I picked this unit up for an added piece of mind for my vacation. I works great! As it learns the house it keeps getting better. I will be getting another one maybe two to put on other doors.

A great personal security camera. Easily blends in giving a not a camera look. Images are clear in day or night. Easy to set up and install. Can access anytime from your smartphone.

I really like this portable camera. It's easy and quick to setup and it has great resolution. Perfect for dorm rooms, or just a single room or area you want to have surveillance on.

Works excellent 99% of the time, every so often will turn on for no reason. Love not have to pay a monthly fee and being able to get notifications and watch live.

I like the Canary. The app could be a little more solid. I enjoy the motion alerts and temperature monitoring the most. Great system, the app just needs work.

The canary is super easy to install and use. It has great picture quality.

Camera works good Quality of video its ok. I dont like that you have to pay for a membership to be able to use the two way talk and also save your videos.
