Great product that does exactly what is supposed to do EXCEPT the first one didn’t work and I had to exchange it. My friend also had a similar problem due to defective one. Once it was set up does the job. Requires a subscription to use all the things it can do but I am able to view room so far without paying. This may change, tho as possible it’s free trial. Can’t use audio without paying for subscription.

Bought this as a temporary camera before I get my hardwired camera in. Clear picture and sound.

The camera has good video recording. Only problem is when it picks up motion it will cut off the video after a few seconds without the premium plan offered by canary...

This camera system is mediocre at best and the user interface could use some work. It does the trick if you just want to have a standard quality camera. The biggest flaw is that the creators keep trying to up sale you on a monthly membership to use basic functions like reviewing a timeline of the day, for example rewinding to a certain time of the day. Only time it catches motion is when you set this camera system in away mode. If you want home and other modes to capture video you have to pay for monthly subscription. If your looking for a home camera system that’s much better go with ring systems.

This product is very bulky. Most have a wifi signal and you most have subscription to operate. Cant record without paying for storage. Netter off getting different cam

Great but you pay for two way talk and recording. Camera and sound is excellent.

I saw on the box you could do several things with the camera. Unfortunately I didn’t notice I couldn’t use 2 way talking unless I bought a subscription for $99 per year. It’s mostly worth the extra money. It does quite a few things if you buy the subscription. It knows when I leave my house and come back. It will switch between away mode and home mode by tracking the phone. I use it to monitor my Great Dane when I’m away. It will also go into night mode when you tell it your normal sleep hours. The subscription also includes 30 days of cloud storage. I find it amusing that if my Great Dane, Chiweenie, or any of my three cats walk passed it, it tells me there is a person in the house.

I got the Canary camera to help me watch my mother when I wasn’t home and it dies a great job! I have had other cameras and the canary had a wider view. Also I can tell when it’s on so I can be aware if anyone is trying to gain access to it. I am able to get a close up view of past video and it is very clear!

This camera is the best, I rate it as a ten. I purchased another camera and hasn't given me the notifications and picture quality that the Canary has. I do not mind paying for the service @ $99.00; per year I think it is a steal. No pun intended.

Setup was difficult with Android 8.0 so I did what Canary support suggested was to try to set up with an older phone or tablet and it worked with a older phone. It seems the Canary app need to be updated to work with newer phones it might just be old stock the problem is it can't update the firmware until you've set it up and connected to your WiFi so your going to have to use an older device to setup. Now it works on the newer phone after I set it up so I never get rid of older devices just in case I need to use.

Small, easy to place in any room. Great video quality and audio. Can also speak through the microphone. I use it to watch my dogs and I can tell them to stop barking, when they think someone is at the front door or making noise. Only draw back, is that it is only cloud storage, would be perfect if it had a slot for a memory card.

I bought this Canary because I already have and use an earlier model and wanted the same capability in another location. After setting it up I realized that it was not capable of telling me the temperature as my older model does. That was one of the major reasons for having a device - to make sure the heat or air conditioning was working properly when away for an extended period of time. Usually improvements are made when new models are developed, not removal of features. So I had to buy a thermometer and set it up in view of the Canary to check temperatures regularly.

Bought them on sale at Best Buy cameras are great indoor cameras The only downfall is if you want the two way audio you have to pay a subscription other than that they’re great cameras and you can hear what’s going on and you can see up to 24 hours of footage for free

This is the 6th Canary camera I've bought. This one was for my sister who needed to keep an eye on the dogs while at work. It plugged in and worked right out of the box. Only minutes to set up. My old Canary cameras have ethernet connections in addition to wi-fi. This latest camera connects by wi-fi only.

I like the fact that I can see what is going on in my house and most people cannot tell that you have cameras in your home. My girlfriend had two of them and caught her brother breaking in to the house. He even walked by them and didn’t know that he was being recorded.
