Candyman classic the sequel she's good I have the first one from shout factory really great film series getting ready for the new one.

I hadn't seen Candyman: Farewell To The Flesh for years. When I saw it was coming to blu ray, I waited to see what the reviews for the transfer were. After enough reviewers gave it decent enough plaudits, I took the plunge and ordered it. I have to say it's much better than I remembered it. A wee bit better than the original to me. You get an extension of the original movie and see the origin of the titular villain and his impact on characters beyond his hometown of Chicago. New Orleans is a great, atmosperic setting for this. Highly recommended for fans of the original.

I personally enjoyed this sequel very much, I like Tony Todds performance in this movie just as much his performance in the first Candyman. The special effects in this movie is pretty darn good for it's time. I enjoyed the storyline and the performance of the actors that were in this film, I would definitely say if you haven't seen it and you enjoyed the first Candyman movie then you definitely need to see it!!

I enjoyed this movie for what it was, which is a light version of the first movie. While it tells a great backstory, it is somewhat impeded by the lead actress who doesn't pull it off as well as the first movie. Still for fans of the original, I cannot imagine having an issue with this one. As for the look of the film, it is from a film print, and it does look really good with only minor film damage. There is a nice surround track, and for a fan of this sequel as I am, it is well worth watching.

Candyman 2 is a Horror Classic finally on Blu ray! dont pass up this one up! Get it ASAP! Just hope they release Candyman soon on blu ray to complete the set.
