This thing is sharp sharp. Cut my finger so cleanly that it took off a bit of skin but didn't even bleed. Never thought I could cut a tomato and not lose any juice. I guess my old knife was just sawing through with force instead of actually slicing. Buy this, but be extremely careful. Very well weighted.

Great and super sharp chef’s knife. If you’ve never used a chef’s knife, they are miles away sharper than anything you could get from a run of the mill knife set from the store. The first time I used it I gave myself a pretty nasty cut on my finger. The second time I used it required stitches to a different finger. What I’m saying is that if you aren’t used to working with a knife this sharp, perhaps you should invest into one of those chain-mail gloves to protect yourself while you get used to it. That being said, it is a nicely solid and sturdy knife that is scalpel sharp. Exactly as advertised.

This knive slices through anything like butter! Makes me feel like a professional chef! Lol. Ive never owned a knife this sharp. I've used it to slice carrots paper thin, and to separate rib bones and the fat from the ribs. Looking forward to using this little baby again soon! Love it!

This is now my go-to knife. It is extremely sharp and will slice my fruit and vegetables easily. Wipes clean with a damp towel. The easy grip handle fit nicely in the palm of my hand. I would like to see these come up again for Deal-of-day so I can purchase a few for Christmas gifts.

So far I've had to have to bandage my hand for a week for just rubbing against it putting away our other knives in the same butcher block holder. With my wife, just grazed it while washing the dishes and the doctor acclaimed it was such a clean cut she's only seen that with a mandolin. So definitely buy it because it is an amazing value (especially as DOTD), but also definitely keep it in it's own storage area and use a cut safe glove.

Amazing knife for the price. Cuts great and so far it's stayed sharp with very light weekly sharpening on a wet stone. Got it on sale for $25 and it was probably one of the easiest purchased ever made for me.

WOW! This is the BEST knife I have ever owned and that's saying a lot! It has a very high quality feel and is extremely sharp. In additon, it is perfectly weighted and comes with a nice quality box to store it in.

This knife is everything I love how sharp it is also the weight of it is just perfect. Plus if you really want to make a statement at a home BBQ you pull out the casing and you just show off.

Yes I love this knife. It is a little weird to buy it from best buy but whatever it's a solid very sharp knife and it feels good with ease of use. Very sharp, fair warning.

Looks and feels very high quality. This knife has a very nice balance to it that you can use it for an extended time and have no worries of muscle fatigue. Very, very sharp!

Best knife I've ever used. At first I thought it was kind of light and not heavy enough, however after just a few uses this is my go to knife now for pretty much anything. It's extremely sharp - dangerously so... but maybe that's why it's now my favorite. Cuts very precise. Would definitely recommend. If these go back on sale again - I'm buying a few to keep as spares and give as gifts. Truly one of the best products I've seen in quite a while..
