Sharp out of the packaging. Nice weight and balance. I’m no metallurgist but it seems like quality steel for the blade. The handle is more ergonomic than it looks but it has no real texture and gets a little slippery when wet or greasy. That’s the reason for the star taken off.

This is a high quality knife, it’s light and very sharp, feel comfortable using it for a long period of time. The only concern is the pointy edge close to the handle can cut your hands if you’re not careful with it. I got cut once. But overall, it’s a good knife to have.

Got this Chef's Knife on dotd and I'm impressed with the quality. It truly is sharp as everyone says. You have to be careful when handling and never let your children near this piece of cutlery. Once you're done using this knife I suggest you store it somewhere safe where kids will not be able to access it. Lock it up in your knife drawer, too bad this knife does not come with a sheath of some sort. I guess you could put it right back in it's box LOL!

Was able to catch this on sale and gave it away as gift. After seeing it in action, i started looking for the entire set for myself.

This is a great knife. Comes sharp, stays sharp. Wife uses it for everything, red meat to lettuce. Had to pick up a package of the bandaids for the fam. Only had it for 3 weeks but I think it will stay sharp for a while. Handle is a bit different (stylish even) but I manage to hang on to it

Really sharp knife. I was in need of a new knife & this was a deal of the day. I figured $25 will not be that big of a loss if this doesn't pan out. Definitely a good deal almost 1 yr & it still has a sharp edge.
