I like the fact that my Canon printer has this extra ink feature to it. Black ink being the most commonly used runs out faster than the others. Nice to have the back up. Learned a lesson about faux ink refills. Will always purchase fresh Canon cartridges.

Not much to say, these cartridges are easy to install and do what they are suppose to do.

if you're reading this, you must have a canon printer. This ink is black and fits into your printer. It prints. it dries, it doesn't smear. I think it's pretty water proof, because we've spilled stuff on it and it didn't smear. Basic and black, you can't ask for more. it's reliable and does what it is supposed to.

Easy to load into printer. A required cartridge for the operation of the Canon printer in addition to black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink cartridges which all together is rather expensive. But I'm happy with the combo printer, scanner, copier which works very well. Purchased at my local Best Buy store which saves on S&H charges.

Have you ever been stopped when trying to print a black and white document because your ($60 - $90) "Tri-Color" cartridge had one (or more) of its "wells" run dry? I was just sick and tired of this after dealing with expensive "Tri-Color" cartridge headaches for more than a decade. When I first shopped for new printers last year I found that several brands now utilize 4 (or more) separate ink cartidges for "full-color" printing. I bought the Canon PIXMA MG 5420 and have been VERY HAPPY with ALL of its features and capabilities! AND BEST OF ALL ... The individual color ink cartridges are 20 to 30% of the price of a "Tri-Color" or "XL" Black cartridge!!! ... And, So far, I've only had to replace these (3 out of 5 of the NON-XL) cartridges once(!) entering my second year of ownership of my PIXMA 3-in-1 printer. Yeah, I don't print more than a couple of (to no more than a dozen) pages a week, but at least I haven't had to replace ANY cartridges that just plain WENT DRY sitting in an inactive printer!

This is high quality ink produced under the supervision of Canon. The ink performs well but is more expensive than other third party inks that perform as well. The cartridges are well made and packaged to prevent damage or leakage. I will always use canon ink cartridges in my canon printer.

Works good, however I prefer the extra large capacity cartridges more.

I find this ink to be great for my printer. It seems to last a long time and best of all, it is inexpensive so I don't feel as if I'm spending a mortgage payment on ink every few months. I will say that I'm a casual printer user and don't use it every day so that may make a difference.
