Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using canon 270XL PGBK for a number of years in my canon printer, the ink is of very good quality and last a reasonable length of time it also remain in the printer for quite a while and does not dry up so my printer runs great and my printed documents have a professional quality to them

The price is great and there is no expiration date which could cause problems when you do not change ink.

Good Canon - Pgi-270xl Ink Cartridge

Canon inks are easy!

I chose this model because I can purchase the different colors as they are used, which I find more economical. With Canon you just click the old cartridge out and pop the new cartridge in! What's also an added benefit is Best Buy's program of discounting the price of new Canon ink when you bring in the empty Canon cartridge you are replacing!

I understand that ink prices are too high to justify in most cases but when you have to still rely on hard copies of documents, you want to make sure that you have a crisp black text document to present. When comparing this to other inks, I believe that it is above par. Canon really does have quality in mind when it comes down to overall print results. Even when printing out a large 8x10 HD photo, you can hardly tell it was printed on a home printer. Just make sure you have a good quality brand photo paper to print on.
