the cartridge inserts easily and does not leak black prints out black as expected

Purchased this cartridge for work printer. Easy to install and working as expected.

Great price on this ink cartridge. Also, it was easy to install.

My new Canon printer uses several cartridges [including this black cartridge] as opposed to a single cartridge that my old printer used. Now all I have to do is change out the color that has run dry and keep using the other colors that have not run dry yet. The separate color cartridges make for better photo printing also. All the colors work well.

Worked fantastic for about 400 pages. At about the 50 page remaining mark, I noticed some fading at random parts of the page. I cleaned the head, but still randomly fades on just black and white documents. Once I replaced it with another PGI-270XL, it was all good again.

It works as intended and lasts a long time. I might be able to save a few dollars by buying third-party refills, but to me it isn't worth the chance of messing up the print head or having lower quality printing. If I was worried that much about printing costs and printed out a lot of stuff, I would get a laser printer.

It's black inc, not much to say. I was using this paired with a very nice Canon photo printer and the blacks are really good. Too good for homework but I didn't feel like purchasing a different printer. The ink cartridge is a bit small so it doesn't last very long but pictures come out gorgeous.

Last year I bought a new Canon printer after my old one of over 10 years finally quit. I was amazed by the new tech that printers have and I will only use Canon ink in a Canon printer. It may cost a little more but they are always reliable. Also you can find sales on ink cartridges so I usually buy them at that time. Great product.

used to have a canon, switched to an EPSON which worked great but the ink costed a fortune. Now back to canon and ink has a good value

I ordered the Canon 270XL black ink cartridge & it works perfectly. I was ordering the color cartridges as well as the black. I saved myself a lot of money as I do not use color only black ink. I am very pleased with the results!
