So far this is an outstanding attachment and a must for videographers! I accidentally didn't charge it for a week and a half. I did photoshoots and videos in that week without having to charge the batteries. I don't recommend you do that though especially for a wedding. Over all I am happy with the attachment. It does add a bit of weight to the camera, but it's well worth it. You might have to upgrade your tripod depending on the weight of your camera and how much the tripod can hold. If you try to use this attachment with a C stabilizer it might not fit. Again you need to check the height of the stabilizer as buying this attachment will increase the height of the camera. Also make sure to buy 2 extra batteries just in case. For photographers. This attachment allows you to shoot easily in vertical. It has the back button autofocus and the shutter button. It takes a while to get used to, but I feel it's better for the hand.

I love having battery grips on my my bodies for extra battery life as well as better grip for my hands. Weddings can become a long day, shooting from mid morning to late in the evening.. and the last thing you want to have to mess with is switching batteries. Sure it adds a little more weight to the camera, but it also gives you easier functionality while in portrait view and the camera turned sideways. So if you need more grip or longer battery life, get the canon battery grip and not the cheap off brand kind. You don't want you camera falling to the ground because of poor off brand quality.

I have three of these, initially I did not see the value in this product as it seemed too heavy for me to use I did not like the bulkiness and the heaviness even though it did feel like a nice hand grip but it’s heaviness was just a huge turn off. When I shot a wedding doing videography my husband utilized this handgrip which provided more battery life to the camera while I was photographing I did switch out my battery twice but my husband was not in need of switching his battery at all throughout the night due to the handgrip so I found its usefulness there. In the future I would probably just mounted on a tripod and leave it there while video recording things

As a photographer, we go through hours of shooting and with an extra battery it eliminates the extra stress of running out in the middle of a shoot. Plus this battery grip if great for portraits because it's easier to hold the camera if you want to shoot portrait shots. Best part was I got 25% off by purchasing 3 accessories. High quality built that gives you all day shooting capability, this is a must if you are not near an outlet and don't have time to wait to charge a battery. As a bonus it makes holding the camera more comfortable. Vertical shooting is made easier with shutter release button on the extender.

I love how long my batteries last now. I can shoot all day and not have to worry about my batteries. I always have a spare but the fact that you really don't need them is ease settling. The addition of the other controls and the extra grip make for a very solid setup.

I got this free with my camera and I didn’t realize just how nice it was going to be to use it. Twice the battery life and the added functionality of shooting with the grip. You can’t go wrong!

Works great- extends number of shots between charges dramatically over single battery. Shutter and autofocus control on the grip for vertical shots comes in handy!

I take a lot of photos and I cannot imagine having this battery pack. Not only is it for extra battery power, but makes the camera easier to hold on to and balance with heavier lenses.

This is a must have for photographers. The battery pack last for much longer then I need it to. The only negative is that it adds a bunch of weight to the camera. Overall very very happy

Really sturdy and not too bulky. It does add weight to your camera but works excellent when taking vertical shots. Highly recommend it because it works perfectly.

A must have for any DSLR body, and the 6D mk ii is such an outstanding camera it is seriously worth topping off with extended battery life and a grip for portrait shots.

Have always purchased a grip with all my cameras. Makes it much easier to take vertical pictures and have the capability to add an extra battery.

This item came with my purchase of the Canon 6D Mark ii. I love how it works with my camera. It is easy to set up and get it on my camera. The item alone can be pretty pricy so I’m glad it was a complementary offer at the time I purchased my camera.
