    I was updating our camera as a birthday present for my wife. After some research, I Chose to go with a rebel 3Ti, and upgrade the lens with the money that I saved on the camera. The pictures are great. We have other lens from the previous camera, but we use this lens the most.

    LOVE THIS LENS AND IT CAME WITH MY 5D MARK 3, PACKAGE PRICE $3488 FROM BEST BUY, the regular price of JUST THE BODY ALONE IS SUPPOSED TO BE $3499, SO I BASICALLY GOT THIS LENS FOR FREE. :) BUY IT AS A PACKAGE AND SAVE

    If I can only bring one lens with me, this would be it! The colors are so vivid - photos turn out so much better. I am glad I made the purchase.

    I have a few "L" glass type lenses and decided this over the 24-70 2.8. I am not happy with it. I know it doesn't take great pictures in low light but even with speed light it doesn't do the justice I thought it would. It's going up for sale and I am getting the 24-70 2.8. I can do without the IS as I use a tri-pod/mono-pod a lot anyways. Don't get me wrong it is a nice aliens, just not for my needs. It is really bad for low light. I thought it would average with a flash but I am sadly disappointed. It is very durable and well made.
