Waited way too long to purchase this lens. I no longer have to carry multiple lenses as this one does the trick. Sharp, great in low light. Feels nice and sturdy in your hands. I'm not bothered by weight as I own several heavy lenses and find this one to be easier to carry than my 70-200 F2.8.

One of the best portrait lenses for full frame cameras out there. It’s a niche lens that some people may not prefer over 70-200 2.8, but I am in love with the results.

Purchased this lens, owned it previously, in hopes that on my R6 that it would focus faster. Yes, yes it does. Lens is not known for its focus speed but with the adapter, $99, it focuses at least 30-40 percent faster and is just as accurate. Was pleasantly surprised but I also had very high hopes. I had lusted after this lens since I sold it a couple years ago. Saved $1000.00 from buying the RF version.

This lens is by far worth every penny! The crispness of the subject in focus is outstanding and highly professional looking! Heavy lens but great product and results!

Very nice lens for shooting at night and low light with out flash. It's a bit heavy but does a great job.

Yes. Just yes. Canon may come out with a 1.4 IS but it won't melt the foreground/background like 1.2 will.

Traded my 70-200 for this lens. Much smaller, much more effective. Sharp and not as flashy in public.
