Great makes it easy for switching lens from my Rebel T7 to my EOS R6!

Perfect to be able to allow me to use any camera lens with my canon without having to buy expensive ones.

I have a number of EF lenses, so this is essential part of the kit if you buy a Canon R or RP body. I have had zero issues with using my EF lenses on the Canon RP that I bought.

I like this lens mount adapter it is small enough to carry in my camera bag.

Very good adaptor, corespondent very quickly and I have no problem at all with my different lenses ! Very sharp and smooth!

My combination is the R6 + canon zoom 100-400 and so it has worked great.

Almost seamless adapter for my R6 and L glass. Maybe a slight delay and softness of some images.

The Canon EF-EOS R adapter works great with my EOS RP when using EF and EF-S lenses, allowing me to use older glass without any compatibility issues. It performs exactly as intended, maintaining solid communication between lens and camera with no noticeable lag or connection problems. There is a crop effect when using EF-S lenses, which essentially gives a bit of extra zoom, but that’s not really an issue in practice—you just step back slightly to frame your shot properly. Overall, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and makes expanding your lens options on the RF system extremely practical and reliable.

Works Flawlessly. Have been using it for 3 years and have no issues with it. It takes every EF lens I throw at it and even tried it with a Laowa Lense made for EF Line. NO issues with connection or functionality. Worth the price to continue to use an assortment of lenses. Here I have a pic of it using the EF 40 mm but I've also used the 50mm 70-200 L, &70-300 from Canon as well as generic zoom adapters. It's so easy to use too.

I was worried when I was purchasing the Canon R6 mk ii, that my l series lenses weren’t going to work well with the camera. Long behold, it works flawlessly. Thank you Canon to making this dapter! The only cons are some vingetting between the camera sensor and the lens itself from the dapter. It’s not too much of annoyance. I am worried that overtime, the seal between the camera body and the adapter will not stay sealed, also along with the lenses seal.

This is perfect for r10 canon, I can actually use my rebel canon lenses. It works perfectly. I would highly recommend this for anyone and everyone. Enjoy!!!!

I have a Canon R5 and R6ii. These lets me use my older, but still viable EF lenses for clear beautiful shots.

It fit perfect, look perfect and work perfect, with Canon, Sigma and Tamron lens for my new EOS R and all work right all the time. (1/2 month of use, 2 weedings and 6 couple photographic sessions) Cons: -The only one thing that I don't like too much is the release lever, it is tiny and sometimes difficult to use, but works well.

I’m always looking for a deal, so when it cane to buying the Canon version or saving a couple bucks to get the knock off, i went with the knock off. Its just a chunck of metal after all, no optics are involved. Should be a no brainer right? Wrong. The one I got worked and communicated with my R6 and all my lenses but the attchment to the camera was just a hair off. The adapter would rock back and forth just slightly. Not a huge deal and my images weren’t affected but not having everything seated tightly gets on your nerves after a while. I used it for a bit before I broke down and got the Canon version which is a nice, tight fit. No more little wobble to deal with and I don’t have to wonder if my mount is getting damaged over time. Spend the extra money and get the brand name here.

This Canon EF–EOS R mount adapter works exactly as advertised and then some. Autofocus is fast and accurate, image quality is uncompromised, and all electronic communication between lens and body works perfectly. My EF lenses feel completely native on my EOS R/R5/R6 body—IS, aperture control, and metadata all function flawlessly. Build quality is excellent and solid, with no play or looseness once mounted. It balances well even with heavier L-series glass and gives me total confidence shooting both photo and video. This adapter made the transition to Canon RF bodies painless and saved me from having to replace a whole lineup of lenses. If you’re moving to Canon’s mirrorless system and already own EF lenses, this adapter is an absolute must-have. Reliable, well-built, and truly seamless.

Works seamlessly! Easy to pop on and then use your lenses like normal. No learning curve or complications really. My only complaint is that the autofocus system on the Canon EOS R seems to have some trouble when using the EF lenses, but no issues with image quality or metering. I feel that is more to do with the camera body and software than with this adapter. This let's me use my more affordable but still wonderful low aperture EF lenses; even if they work better in manual focus mode I'll take it!
