This is a no-brainer for anyone with a Canon DSLR which can use the EF-S series lens. Much sharper than the kit lens, even wide open; it's a tiny bit soft at 2.8 but amazing when stopped down a bit.

This lens is just what I needed for my in home studio! I have the 50mm F1.8 but bc of limited space it didn’t allow me to capture the full scene of my pictures so I had to resort to my kit lens. This lens gives me great sharp shots!

After watching many videos I'm glad I bought it! Great price for a great lens! It tracks well, focuses quickly, and great bokeh. It's great for portraits, landscape shots and macro too.

Given enough light lens takes very sharp pictures. Good field of view for indoor shots.

I am using it on my Rebel T4i. 24mm is a great walking around lens that let's you use in any situation, especially indoors. For the price and the versatility at f/2.8, it's a great addition to your camera bag. Only down fall but is expected is that the f/2.8 does not deliver great bokeh or depth of field because of its wide angle.

this is a great lens for the price. the build is good and the quality of the images far better than a kit lens. a must have for any beginner on a budget

I'm really enjoying this lens. It's definitely great for portrait photography. Headshots to be exact. It's simple like a point and shoot camera. It focuses on the subject automatically. Keep in mind, there is no zoom or manual focus with this lense.

I make jewelry, crocheted items and wood items and needed a lens to get 'up close and personal' with the pieces to show details. This lens works like a charm! Very little editing is needed before posting to my website. What a time saver!

Great quality and pictures. This lens is obviously not a zoom lens, which I was used to. But it does what it is supposed to do at the distance it is supposed to do it really well! Nice images and great quality for anyone seeking this lens.

I would recommend this for your landscape shots. Some Portraits and even a little close-up work (though it won't match a real macro. Its a great choice for the price and provides a shot that is plenty wide

Great for portraits! Love this lense and how small it is and makes the camera feel. The auto focus is awesome and fast and you’re able to get a wide shot of a scene or upclose and personal for portraits

I went to Seattle for a trip, and took this with me. It provided good landscape graphs, and was pleased by how light weight it made it easy to travel

This lens is fast at focusing, and quite. It also takes sharp photos. For the price the lens is great.

I haven’t got to use this lens a lot on my personal camera but I have used it on a friends mirrorless and it’s a very crisp and quick lens. Prime lenses always have a sharper image and this is not exception!

Its a great and sharp lens for the price! Only downside to the lens is that its an EF-S lens which works fine with a 7D but not so well on a 6D. Great lenses, nonetheless.
