I'm an amateur photographer so I'm not completely using this lens to it's full potential, but it has produced some great pictures for me so far.

I am blown away with the sharpness of the images I am able to capture with this lenses. It has become my go to lens when I am out and about.

Be aware that this lens is only for crop sensor cameras and won't work with your full frame canon. For a low cost lens, this is fantastic for wide shots and keeping everyone in focus. I wasn't sure how much I'd like it but so far, so good! It's sturdy/well made and does the job.

I'm a pro photographer and this is a great lens to slap on for video or when you need a wide angle. I was indoors and was forced to photograph a group on the sofa, in somewhat confined area and this lens worked and sharp edge to edge. Auto-focus seemed okay. Keeping it in my bag always now.

This lense is perfect for indoor real estate photography with a crop sensor camera.

I love this lens! It is great for settings with low light and close range. It is not ideal for shooting long distance but in-person interviews and photos come out beautifully with this lens.

I bought this lens for indoor snapshots and it’s great for portraits too. With its 2.8 aperture it’s fast enough for low light shots. You can’t beat it for the price.

I do surf photography and using this lens gives me an perspective on how things look from a distance meaning I can get that bokeh. Another factor is that it is reasonable and affordable.

It has a hard time focussing in low light settings, not recommendated for moving subjects. But; other than that it's recommended and good to have.

I bought this lens as an intermediate wide angle lens for sunset and landscape photography. And it works quite well for both.

This is the first prime lens I bought for my Canon EOS 77D. I love the really thin fit of the lens so it's very easy to pack the entire camera in my shoulder bag.

Lens works great on my t3i, acts closer to a 40mm equivalent of a full frame which is what i was looking for.

This pancake is reasonably fast, and has decent quality for the price. With a 40mm equivalent f.o.v. this makes a great street photography lens, and it's not much bigger than a body cap.

Excellent lens for the price. I've taken quite a few pictures with this lens and the images come out sharp. Takes great close up images as well.

Seriously, if you've got a Canon EOS camera that's *not* full frame, you should add this lens to your collection. For the price it's amazing.

I bought this for my SL1. I have owned the 50mm but decided to get a 24 due to the cropped sensor. Great lens for wider portrait shots.

This is a fabulous lens! I have been using it for a few months now and love its crisp and sharp photos! Highly recommended to anyone starting out in photography!

got this for my wife for up close and wide photos. So far all the photos she has taken of flowers and wildlife have turned out great. great lens for what is designed for.
