I love this lens because of f/2.8 aperture. The pictures that I have taken came out sharp and clear. Glad to add this lens to my camera's arsenal. Can't wait to try out the macro photography on my flowers.

Best bang for your buck! Get the 24mm, the 50mm and the 55-250mm all STM and you have the PERFECT KIT. Also with the focal length of this lens it's basically a Macro lens alone, but also pairs great with extension tubes.

I love this lens! I really wasn’t expecting too much for the price but after doing so shots with it I am in love! I do a lot of nature work and this lens is great for that! Would definitely buy again!!

I have used this lens previously and it is good. I have had not such a good experience with my this particular purchase though as Best Buy sent me an open box item at the price of a new item. The box was not sealed and nor was the lens inside the packaging plastic bags inside the box. When I called to ask for replacement , there’s none in stock. I need the lens for a special occasion this weekend , guess I would have to do without proper pics. My first terrible experience with Best Buy. But nothing to take away from this lens itself , it wasn’t necessarily a special buy at that price as every other site is selling for same price. Guess I need to check with them now.

I really recommend this lens for any Canon APS-C sensor. Perfect for street photography and low light. It is sharp and light weight, perfect for traveling.

I’m an amateur photographer & decided to purchase this lens for wide shots that I could not capture with my 50mm lens. The 2.8 aperture allows you to get some nice background blur. So happy I added this to my collection.

This is an amazing lens for the price. I purchased it to toy around with and I’m glad I did. This lens is excellent for macro shots. Can’t wait to try different things with it.

Great buy...the only lens I'll ever need as street photographer...
Portraits look extraordinary!...I do all my editing on iPad...no need for
zoom...I use it on my Canon t3, hard to understand why anyone would throw big bucks at overpriced gadgets...

This lens is super sharp, fast, and accurate, adding minimal weight to the camera. If you have a crop sensor and need a prime to get unique perspectives( as it allows you to get pretty close to your subject), go for it! It's a great addition to you kit! No regrets with this purchase.

I don’t love the Canon 24mm lens because it feels limiting for my photography style. I often prefer wider angles, and the 24mm just doesn’t work for landscapes or group shots. I also find it has noticeable distortion at the edges, which frustrates me, especially with architecture.
The size and weight can be inconvenient, making it less practical for my needs. If the autofocus is slow or inaccurate, it really hinders my ability to capture spontaneous moments. Additionally, the image quality doesn’t meet my expectations compared to my other lenses. Finally, you get what you pay for.
