Nice lens need it in your camera bag with a 24-70 L Lens

This is the perfect walk around lens and it sharp enough wide open

I owned a 28mm 1.8 lens prior to buying this lens, and I was wanting a lens that would work with my Canon 70D. This is one of those lenses that's designed to compliment the auto focus features of the camera, and I gotta say it's awesome! This has now become one of the most frequently used lenses in my bag along with my 50mm 1.4; can't leave home without it!

I wanted to love this. I bought it because I wanted something not-so-bulky for my camera. While this is not bulky, I find that I don't enjoy using it as much and I actually prefer the bulk of the other lens if I can get better pictures. Obviously, there is no zoom lens and I knew what I was getting ... but I think it is not as practical for me as I thought it could be. It is fine for what it is, I just don't get as much use of it as I thought I would and just end up using my phone when I want to go for something more lightweight.

It does the job. It's a good lense for the money and I'd recommend it. If you want to spend more $$ there are other good options also but this does the job.

Works well in low light. with an F stop of 2.8 allows for better night shots as well as good depth of field for portraits.

It is a perfect fit for my Canon Rebel T7 ! Small ,not heavy Cant wait to start taking pictures with it !

My daughter wanted a smaller lens and this lens fit the bill. I wasn't very pleased with the time it took to receive my lens nor the service (or lack of) from Best Buy.
