I've had the camera for about a month now. I recently took some night time shots without a flash, The pictures came out great. Camera is very fast, 8 frames per second. Its a big jump from my XTI.

I have only had this camera for a few weeks and due to illness have not been able to really put it through its paces. However, without reading the guide I was able to use most of the functions including the video feature. Another reason I purchased the 7d is the larger viewing screen. Can't wait to football season and see the results of my shot instantly where even someone like me can see them with this screen. I was amazed at the quality of the video and edited this easily in Pinnacle. Looking forward to getting more intimate with this camera.

Pretty good so far. I just need to get better understanding all of the controls/adjustments/etc. Much better pictures than my 30D, specially in low light conditions. I've shot at 1600 and 3200 so far with pretty good results. Haven't worked much with the video functionality yet, but plan on shooting a short film with it this Spring.

Great camera has a lot of wonderful features! Did have a problem with pictures not being very sharp. Followed on-line instructions to reset camera (included removing the clock battery and regular battery for a set time) and now appears to be sharp. Takes great pictures in low light. Lots to learn about how to use this camera...

    Nikon who?

Once again Canon has Nikon scratching their heads how they are going to top this camera. This is a great price for a superb quality DLSR. The new built in focus screen and dual axis "level" will help you compose and frame the best pictures. You can switch at a touch of a button from shooting in RAW to JPEG as well as Movie to Still. For all those people who think Movie Cameras have no place in the DSLR world, I say get used to it and embrace the new technology or you will be left behind.

Have had time to use this camera and I am really happy with the results. I have 2 previous Canon SLR's a 20D,50D. I am new to video using an SLR, but have created a couple and the results are unbelievable, excellent results, even look great on my 54" LCD TV.

I like the expanded ISO, the 8fps speed, magnesium alloy body, finally they have this built in speedlite transmitter for effective control in lighting set-ups. I am just frustrated with the opening price since they have intentionally put this in the price range of $1,600 to highs of $1,800.
