Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have way too many canon cameras including the 5Dmark III and this will match and exceed all of them, except it's a cropped but many times that is desirable , It's really fast and handles low light beyond impressive. When shooting large raw plus large JPEG it uses battery power faster than the others but it's worth it. I think it would be worth adding a battery grip to extend battery life when shooting wildlife or any situations when you are shooting a lot of rapid shots for an extended period of time. Otherwise everything I can hope for and the price is well worth it.

Bought to replace my 7D.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been shooting photos and video with a 7D for a couple years now and have bought the Mark II as a replacement. The great thing about it is that it was immediately familiar yet the images are sharper and the included lens is better than the lens on my 7D (though not as good as a few in my camera bag). I take a lot of product photos (close-ups, details, etc.) and the Mark II does a superb job of capturing these details. Great camera, not to heavy for long moments of handheld use and easy to use. I couldn't ask for much more.
