Moving up from the canon t7i, I was hoping this camera would have better video quality and auto focus. So far the auto focus is superior. Picture quality I’m still testing.

After 1 year using the Eos R camera I can say it's a great camera. It is excellent for photos and it is also good for video despite the crop factor it has in 4k. It does not overheat.

This camera is great! Right out of the box it is ready to go. The wifi feature works seamlessly and is a great way to send images directly to your phone. The images are crisp and clear.

I was iffy about getting camera considering it’s age and the fact that the Canon R6 is out. This is an unbiased review. I was a bit disappointed with the 4K crop factor and no image stabilization sensors in the camera, but i don’t film much with it anyways. Regardless the 4K is very sharp and the 1080P is pretty sharp as well. The camera excels in the photograph taking area. If you’re really trying to get this camera for film I couldn’t recommend it. Other than that I love the camera

I love it. I upgraded from a EOS m and the EOS r was the right way to go. I would have gone Sony but decided to try the EOS r and I'm glad I didn't go Sony because the canon EOS r is so much better. It is basically a 5D Mk IV in a mirrorless body and it shows. Video wise it's up there with some of the best mirrorless cameras for video.

The Canon EOS R is the absolute best camera I have ever owned! By far the most underrated mirrorless camera on the market. The ability to take wonderful stills and fantastic 4K videos without overheating the camera is fabulous. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone stepping up from your basic DSLR unit.

It takes great photos. Amazing low light capabilities. Kit lens is a beast.

It is a wonderful and very professional camera. I look forward to continuing to learn its ways. I will say, while the kit lens is capable of very many things, and it is still a decent lens, I look forward to upgrading my lens in the future. The raw images the camera takes records tons of info and are so pleasurable to edit. Would buy again!

Love it very nice and easy to use best pictures and best quality

I purchased the EOS RP. And so far the camera has met my expectations in taking clear, sharp photos. It's my everyday, everything camera. I also purchased Canon 35mm, 50mm lenses for this camera. It is a great full frame small body camera which takes excellent photos.

I bought this in the hopes of getting crisper images of birds. I am impressed! This camera body and the 600 mm lens we’re just what I needed!

It's the perfect camera as you move up to the next level . Photos and videos of top quality . It's Manuel controls are outstanding. Haven't heard one professional say one bad or inconvenient issue with this camera.

I really liked the product. I was worried about the camera does not have a flash and requires an external one but the ISO range is amazing. No grains in the pictures on high ISO is another plus at night pictures.

Great camera, but with the other models in the lineup so close I personally must say either save the extra money and buy the RP or find/save the extra money and go for the 6 or 5 There’s nothing really bad about this camera it’s just the areas it lacks in are way better just one model up and the things it does good the camera one model down is just as comparable in a lot of ways for less money I used this camera for one shoot and ended up returning it for the r6, I’ve nothing bad to say about it other than it sits currently in a weird spot for canons line up
