Canon EOS R50 was my graduation gift. I really wanted an affordable camera, and the R50 was right within my budget. For a beginner, the kit lens was perfect for me to learn mostly how to use a camera. The R50 has taken me on a beautiful journey, and I would recommend the amazing camera to any beginner who wants to get into photography. The pictures are great, and the videos are also really good. My very first picture with the Canon EOS R50 RF-S55-210mm lenses was of the moon!

This camera is very light, the combination of lenses is very good, easy to handle and my companion for walks around parks. The color that I get for my photos are genuine and almost no retouching is needed, just some cropped edges. I am very pleased that I made this purchase at BB.

A great camera for beginner photographers. Easy to use, good quality photos & video. Might be a good option for vlogs. My only complain is the battery doesn’t last very long when compared to DSLR.

Great camera for anyone, not just beginners. I do plan to keep this and get a full body like the R5, however this is light and takes great pictures. It’s also about the lens you use, those are most important.

Honestly, I really don't know enough about cameras to know if it's a good one or not but it seems pretty good. Wanted a camera that would take good enough pictures to have blown up and hang on my walls. So far I'm pretty happy with the pictures I've taken and look forward to even better ones once I actually learn how to use it to its full potential. Only had 2 weeks so no picture on the wall just yet. Everything I've read pointed to this one over the R100 so that's the way I went. Really glad I bought the package with 2 lenses, seems to be a decent discount on the 55-210mm lense. I already looking for a more telescopic lens and they seem to be about as much as this package cost me but I don't think most people would need more than this one provides. I want to take pictures of the moon and stars. Actually got a better picture of the moon than I thought I'd get with this one.

Great camera takes beautiful pictures. I took a star away because the camera overheats very easily and will shut itself off. Hard when you are doing multiple shoots and it cant keep up.

Honestly, I was uncertain about the purchase at the beginning. But ultimately pulled the trigger on this model, and I couldn´t be happier. As a beginner this is a good model to start with, my best friend who´s a comms major / photographer-videographer told me as much. It´s got a lot of great features, and the two lens bundle is a great option at the current price. This is my first professional camera, and I chose it because of its small/compact size, which makes it easy to use, carry, and travel with. I really did not want a bigger, heavier model. The bestbuy phone customer service, and the retail store employees where very helpful setting up my account and facilitating my purchase. At first I just got the camera without even thinking of the extras, so when I got to the store to pick it up I purchased the SD card and the backpack for it. Overall I am rather joyful about my purchase, and soon beginning my photography journey.

Amazing camera for beginners. If you are starting out, auto mode is great at introducing you to the camera. It doesn't have to many buttons so it's not intimidating to use at first. After a while, you can start using the different modes it offers to make your pictures come out just like how you want.

The R50 and lens kit is an amazing value! IF you know anything about Canon glass, you know it is pricey. To get this lens set WITH the R50 body is amazing! The still images are fantastic but the video capability is where it really shines.

I'm an airsoft photographer at a field in Wisconsin. This camera and both lenses work great for what I need it for. It was easy to learn the functions and the 15 FPS helps me capture the action perfectly

Light weight and perfect for begineers....!!! I was having Canon T6 previously picture quality was way better than that. I love this light weight one. really good for low light photography...!!!

Incredible Camera! The performance is great, AF is fast, lense selection is large, battery life is great, and the image quality is amazing for the price. Recommend it for all beginners, or anyone looking to get into the mirrorless world.

The Canon R50 is very user-friendly. It takes good quality photos for a good price. The kit came with two lenses which give you a variety of different options for specific photography needs.

This is my first camera ever. It’s great for beginners and budget friendly too.
