Canon-EOS R7 Mirrorless Camera (Body Only) - Black
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent camera. Switched from the 90D and notice it being a lot faster and quieter, and the video quality is strong. Takes a little while using the screen, but being able to compose on the fly is a time-saver and works very well.

Great camera
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this camera for wildlife and the autofocus system. The eye tracking autofocus is amazingly accurate and I'm getting more keepers than I was with my full frame Canon 6D II. I am using my current EF lenses with the EF to RF adaptor (a Tamron 100-400 and a Sigma 150-600). I am very happy with how this camera performs. Like most crop sensor cameras low light situations can be a challenge with high iso settings as far as noisy pictures but overall this is an excellent camera with outstanding autofocus features. I generally use the manual settings to get the results I want.

Loye it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Takes a little while to adjust from using and SLR. Because the way you access the items in the menu and info screen menus to set up the camera settings is different, More on the info screen than the menu items. Takes great images sharp and quick focus. I own d10, d20, d50, d7.

Canon R7
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it to pair with the RF800MM F11 Lens for maximum reach and the combination produces great pictures of smaller birds that would have been unreachable in years prior without spending $$$$

Great camera // Better Customer Service!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old camera had died this summer so when I needed to replace it with my warranty, I knew that the R7 was the next upgrade. The duel SD card slots mean that I don't have to worry about losing moments, the relatively small form factor of this camera means that it is nice to use on my professional shoots as well as everyday out and about photos. The 32 megapixels means that I have more than enough resolution to deliver high quality photos to clients and enough room to zoom in when needed. C-log is a great feature for video when color grading is needed. Customer service was there to answer any questions that I had and even helped me make sure that this was the camera that I for sure wanted.

Simply blown away!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Canon EOS R7 to replace my 10 year old Canon EOS 70D. This is my first mirrorless camera and it definitely outperforms the 70D! I'm very happy with the performance and highly recommend this camera body if you want a mirrorless APS-C camera. With the EF to RF lens adapter (with control ring), I can use all the lenses I have for the EOS 70D. In fact, the shots look clearer with the EOS R7 than the EOS 70D using the same lens. Focusing is lightning fast and accurate. I love the subject and eye tracking focus! Color is accurate. The EOS R7 can also use the same battery packs I had for the EOS 70D, although they don't last quite as long as the newer high capacity battery that comes with the EOS R7. The Electronic View Finder (EVF) provides a simulated view of the exposure. This helps reduce the need to view a shot after it's been taken and retake it if the exposure isn't what you expected. The amount of information you can select to view in the EVF makes configuring exposures or selecting modes a breeze. I have mapped several of the buttons and dials to make switching like the focus modes quick and easy so I don't miss any shots.

Review of the Canon EOS R7 for Sports Photography
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Canon EOS R7 mainly for sports photography, and honestly, it’s been a great experience. The autofocus is super fast and really accurate — it easily keeps up with fast-moving action, which is exactly what I need. The image quality is excellent. The photos come out sharp, detailed, and with great color. One thing I really appreciate is the in-body image stabilization — it helps a lot, especially when shooting handheld or with longer lenses. What really stands out to me is the clarity and sharpness. Even when I crop in on the image, it still looks clean and detailed. Plus, with the crop sensor, I get really good reach when using zoom lenses, which is perfect for shooting from a distance. Overall, I think the R7 is a fantastic camera for sports. It’s reliable, fast, and gives me high-quality results every time I use it.

The Professional Reviews Don’t Lie
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from an older DSLR, this is a dream. The autofocus provides shots I would have never achieved with my old rig. The R7 is very light, and paired with the new lightweight R7 lenses, this setup is great. I am a wildlife enthusiast, and love to hike and take pictures of wildlife. This setup is perfect if you are a hiker. The button layout is different, but absolutely makes sense. For smaller birds, eye focus can struggle, but is still a huge difference from a DSLR. For raptors, herons, and mammals, this camera locks on! Love this camera!
