We have enjoyed our Canon cameras, over the years, and once again, Canon does it again! This camera was purchased as a gift for our daughter to continue with her love of photography and she has been so impressed! It is very user friendly and the picture quality is fantastic. Canon will continue to be our go to product!

This camera was something that I have researched for a while. Took a while to choose between Nikon and Canon, but, I am very happy with my choice. There are still a few things I need to figure out, but it is awesome. It give me little tips for when I am trying to figure out which settings to use. I appreciate that the most. It is just really easy to use and great for the price. Worth the investment!

This is my first DSLR camera and I must say that I'm very pleased with my choice and results do far. I was choosing between the Nikon D5200 and the Canon and I'm glad that I bought the Canon. The weight is great and once I learned the functions and features it's even a better buy than I thought. Friends of mine were telling me that if I bought Canon that I would be very happy with it and they were right!

I absolutely love my new camera. It is great and easy to use. Would recommend the Canon-EOS Rebel T3i DSLR as a starting point for a great camera to learn with.

My husband bought me this camera, and I love it. The picture quality is great, especially compared to my previous camera (which I thought was really good). I'm not very techy, but this is very easy to use. It's heavier than my previous camera, but if you want a DSLR, I think they're all going to be heavier/bulky.

We are so happy with the purchase of this new camera for our daughter. She is enjoying the ease of the camera's features, and especially loves the quality of the pictures. The price was a concern for us a first, but now we see that the quality is well worth it.

I've been eying this camera for years before I actually bought it. I've loved it ever since I first saw it and played with it at my local Best Buy. Now that I have it, I love it even more! It's really easy to use, even for first time-dslr owners. It takes magnificent pictures, and it's light and compact. Perfect!

This has been my first D-SLR camera, I have like 6-8 moth with, before buying it I have never experience a D-SLR, so at the start I was really bad taking picture with it, after keep trying I learn how to get much of it. Auto-Mode is actually good if you don't want to deal with setting but you get better pic's using Manual Mode and it faster to focus. Buy it with 70-300mm Lens get great pics with it too but you better use a fast exposure because it doesn't have Image Stabilizer

A great overall camera for the money. It will do just about anything and it fits your hand nicely. There are many features on this camera and I am still learning all it can do. My last Canon was an AE-1 and that was a long time ago but the quality is still there and the pictures are awesome. I really like taking pictures in lower light without the flash- they come out beautiful.

I'm just a beginner and got this one. It's really easy to use and gives real quality images. Only thing was the bag or carry case given in combo wasn't good so i got all individual items with Nikon - Digital SLR Camera Bag and it just costed me few extra $ but i'm satisfied with the purchase... Thanks!

I bought it a day before a trip to Spain, Italy and Normandy, France. Read some of the manual on the flight and was able to take over 1000 good pictures without truly understanding all of the camera's potential. Made some mistakes but I am extremely satisfied with its quality and ease of use.

I bought this camera a few years ago when I was in the market for something a step up from my Kodak point & shoot camera. I am by no means a professional photographer, but wanted the opportunity to start learning more and take better photos. At that time, I debated between this one and a Nikon camera. I ended up choosing this one because of the rotating LCD screen. In the past, I had found myself in situations where I needed to hold my camera up high, above a crowd for example, but had to shoot without seeing what it was actually pointed at. It happened enough that the rotating screen was the deciding factor in my purchase. And to this day, that feature alone has been priceless. The camera has performed great. With the addition of a remote shutter release, I recently began trying my hand at astrophotography. I haven't taken any award winning photos so far, but for me, they've been great. The only downside to owning/using a DSLR such as this one as opposed to a point & shoot or cell phone camera is having to carry an extra lens if you want more zoom. It isn't always convenient and sometimes it's hard to decide if you want to carry a telephoto lens or not. Other than that, it's been a great camera.

I haven't owned an SLR camera in over 10 years, and my last was a good quality Nikon SLR (non-D). I debated between the this canon and similarly priced and feature-set nikon (D70) but went with the canon because of the fact that the auto-focus servo is located within the LENS of the canon as opposed to the BODY of the nikon. Other reviewers and specs indicated that the auto-focus on the canon to be faster (from near to far with a 55-250mm lens). It was very easy for me to get the hang of using a DSLR, and on my first day of shooting got great actions shots of a soccer game (using 250mm zoom with image stabilization). The key though is to get the lenses with image stabilization. It will make a world of difference for action and low-light situations. The only draw-back to the camera that I have noticed in the few months that I have used it is the built-in flash. With no flash, you can rapidly snap photos to be able to choose the best in a situation, but with the built-in flash the refresh time seems to be at least 2-3 seconds. My next investment will be a decent quality external flash. Would I buy this camera again? DEFINITELY. Would I buy the kit with the IS lenses again, for the additional cost? DEFINITELY. Was it worth getting the zoom lens right away? ABSOLUTELY.

My first DSLR and love it! Easy to use on auto and when trying to use the camera on manual it is even easier to use! This camera is a great starter and performed just as good if not better than some of the others that were more expensive.
