Bought camera for my husband. He hasn't had a chance to use it much, but when he did, he definitely liked all of the features on it. It takes great pictures and the battery seems to last forever.

I love the T7i the touchscreen is really good along with the pullout screen. I am a beginner at photography and most take pics of cars and my car but I literally got the hang of the camera within less than a week! It’s super easy to use and feels good in the hands. I have not had any issue with the camera yet and I don’t plan to cause I baby it so much. Have taken videos too and have not experienced motion blur like I hear Nikon has. For the price you get what you want and this type of camera was what I was exactly looking for. If you want a great DSLR that’s not going to burn the budget than go with this one

I don’t know too much about cameras and used to have the Rebel SL1 before I got the Rebel T7i. After having a touch screen with the SL1, I wanted a camera with wi-if and touch screen but the T7 does not have a touch so I had to go with the T7i and I really like it. I use the camera mostly for vacation and my kids’ games and what I like about it is that I can transfer the pictures or videos to my phone and share them and I don’t have to wait until I get home to put the SD card in the computer and do all that. Overall I think it’s a good camera to shoot pictures and videos when you go on vacation or to the kids’ games.

I bought this camera for my wife as a replacement for a much older Canon camera. While she had the previous camera for a long time, she took mostly sports photography and never really took any formal (or informal) classes on photography and just needed something newer to the the photo juices flowing again.
This camera is easy to use and takes great photos. Had a little trouble connecting to a mobile device, but that could have been my user error and not the camera...the jury is still out on that.
Good camera, if you're looking for something as you're just starting out, this is the camera for you!

Great camera. Takes awesome pictures and steady videos. The stabilization really works. Easy to use, I am not a camera expert and I was still getting great shots day one.

Still putting it through "tests" and am very happy with it so far. I love/loved (and still use) my t6i and this (t7i) is different enough to feel completely new to me. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a camera.
I do hope to enter the big league one day, but for now I love my Rebels.

I'm a hobbyist photographer if you want to call it that. This camera feels good in my hands, shoots very high resolution 24.2 megapixel pictures, has a number of available lens options. I use it mostly for still shots and the camera has never let me down. I like auto flash that pops up in lower light conditions. The kit lens is a good beginner lens and is my normal go-to. I also bought an EFS 55-250 zoom lens for up close nature shots.
Note that the nifty fifty EF 50MM lens will do a 1.6x magnification with this camera and other crop sensor cameras. In real world this means that you will need to nearly double the distance from your object if you don't want to have a super zoomed in effect. I sold that lens today but plan to look at buying a 35mm one with a lower aperture at some point.
I had debated between this and a mirrorless setup like the M50 but the body on that felt way too fragile for its price. The one thing I didn't like was the quality of its videos at 1080p. My last two iPhone 11/12 Pros have performed drastically better in that area.

Took weeks deciding between the sl2 and t7i since they are similar and i would save a lot with the sl2 to put towards a prime lens. I went with the t7i Incase I decided to stick with photography and glad I did. I can’t put the camera down and I love learning all about photography. The more pics you take with the camera the better your understanding will be with the hobby. I’m a beginner and glad I went with this model to learn with but part of me wish I spent the few hundred more for the 80d model or maybe a full frame mark 6 or 5 camera because I’ll never leave the hobby. But the t7i is just fantastic.

Has already proven its value. Performs at a level beyond expectations. The only complaints are minor gripes. A headphone jack on the camera would be nice for monitoring sound while recording. Also, the stock lens is fine, but leaves something to be desired.
