Great Addition for the RP Body

I recently purchased the Canon EOS RP camera body which included the EOS RP Grip as a special offer. The grip adds very little weight to the camera body, but definitely improves the comfort and handling of the camera especially when using larger lenses. The grip also includes access to the battery and memory card slots so no muss-no fuss when removing the the card or battery. There is also a built-in threaded metal piece if mounting the camera on a tripod. The grip is a well thought out addition to the RP body.

The Canon EOS RP is a very small camera. This grip really is needed to handle the camera well. Once you remove the original battery cover, this screws into the tripod mount. Don't worry, though, the grip has a mount built in. Also, another nice touch is that you can access the battery and SD card which the grip in place.

    It’s good for me

When I got the RP I really debated the grip addition. My initial preference was small is good and I still feel that way. However what I found is the grip doesn’t make it a lot bigger; the grip makes a lot of things on the camera better. First the grip gives a little more space on the bottom making the RP control wheel easier to use without reducing stability. Second the grip makes changing the battery or the SD card crazy easy and way better than the original battery door. This is really nice because the battery door is also your SD card access. So after testing with and without this is a permanent addition to my RP

The Canon RP grip is a must for anyone with medium to large hands. Without the grip it is awkward to hold. Rp grip provides much needed balance and comfort.

It gives you the extra grip so that your pinky finger is not dangling but holding the camera firm too. The RP is a small camera and this grip makes it easier to hold securely.

Super nice for even slightly bigger hands since the rp is fairly small. It also makes the battery and sd port more easy to access

I love this grip. It fits well in the hand and gives the illusion that I have my old 60D with its battery grip in my hand again. My pinky finally has somewhere to go lol.

The grip, while not a necessity it is a handy addition. Using the extension grip do not block access to either the battery or memory card. The added weight is minor.

A must to have accessory for Canon EOS RP . It helps to have a good grip of the camera. Pricy but worth the dollars spent.
