Haven't had it long but have used the printing, scanning, and copier functions. Using this for personal needs. Won't see business-type use. Haven't set up fax yet. Have used supplied software to set up scan-to-file feature and have used it successfully several times. Scanning to the public folder creates a pdf, but scanning to another non-public folder created img files for some reason. Also used the manual feed tray with card stock and it fed fine. Satisfied with the b&w and color printing quality. Performed the color adjustment process that is available. You print a test page and then scan it and the machine adjusts based on the difference between the two. Happy with the time-to-first-print, print speed, and noise level. Still in honeymoon phase though. There seem to be many more things this machine can do but haven't read throught the entire manual yet. Lie the 3-yr warranty. Note: You can swipe left/right on the display panel to go to next or prior pages. There is an arrow you can tap but it is sensitive to how close you tap. It often selects a function icon instead.

Nice home unit for work-from-home purposes. The software is dated and I frankly can't make the scanning feature work wirelessly. That's probably a "me" problem, but that's a dent in the user-friendly column. Still, good value, print/copy works excellently. It's large and will take up a full end table, so make sure you have a space for it. There are far worse options than this model.

It was a breeze to setup with my network. Setting up Apple air print was a little more difficult but still not terrible. We use it sparingly but it has done everything we ask of it. We are not high volume printers so we decided to go laser because we had to deal with dried up the ink and used more of no cleaning the print heads than from printing. One word of warning: This printer is a beast! It weighs a lot and has a large footprint so Keep that in mind as you pick the location where you want to put it. A pressboard shelf with no support under it will quickly sag and fail due to the weight.

I got this for what I thought was a steal, but perhaps I paid full price considering the so-so performance and very user-unfriendly interfaces and software. Scanning works about half the time and I need to use either Windows Fax & Scan or third-party software. Also, I can network print, but not network scan (have to use the USB for scanning). Finally, randomly the printer will not recognize that I have letter-sized paper on the bottom tray, so I'll have to use the feeder. The printing is solid, but not a very refined machine. I would upgrade if I had it to do over.

Quick and good quality scans, copies and prints. Set up on Windows OS was relatively easy, and since set up, I've had no problems. It can scan 2-sided at once, which is a nice feature. Color print quality isn't the greatest, (e.g., it will miss light greys), but I kind of expected that from this class of machine because, in my experience, laser/toner machines that print close-to-true colors cost several thousand dollars. For the price, it's a great machine and, in my experience, way less glitchy than the comparable HPs.

Bought this Canon image Class MF743Cdw all in one Laser printer to replace my all in one Jet ink printer because I was tired of purchasing Jet Ink every month or so. I have a Black ink Lazer printer and purchase a Lazer cartridge about once a year. This image Class MF743 is a color printer and does a fine job for routine office/home use. It is very easy to use the copier and will try to use the FAX with an iPhone. Very impressed with the quality and quiet operation. Yes I do recommend this product.

Love this printer. It is easy to use. The quality of the out put is great, but the cartridges are pricey.

It's a big unit for home office use. Replaced an older Brother color laser AIO. Set up was easy enough, connecting to wifi and running the print test/scan calibration. Quick print speeds and nice quality. AirPrint from an iPhone was simple too, though you don't get options there to scale the output size (not sure if that's an Apple limitation or just a feature missing from the Canon driver). The four toner/drum replacements are basically the same price as replacing the printer, so I'm hoping the ones that came with the unit last for a while.

I love this printer. It does everything I could ever want. It’s better than my work printer. This prints color and black and whit quickly. It even prints both sides. Copying and scanning are easy and it easily connects to my wifi or other devices so I can even print from my phone. Paper is loaded on bottom so jams are decreased. Definite must have. It is a little big and heavy but so worth it.

Printer is great. Was very easy to set up. Although hard to move. I didn't realize how heavy it was and how hard it was going to be to get it inside. Luckily I had a dolly to use as my home office is upstairs. Once that part was over it has been great. Easy to connect wirelessly and be able to print from anywhere in the house. It is super quiet and goes into power saving mode easily.

I absolutely love my printer fax machine copier. with the easy set up, plug it in no complicated prompts yes or no set your time. If you have a phone line, it’s easy put the phone line in. It will prompt you what needs to do overall, the easiest printer I’ve ever ever had and I have had many.

Tried many HP models before finally arriving on this one. Glad we did! It is more quiet, more powerful, and has more features than Tango, HP15W, and our old Canon MG620. It is a LARGE size, however, so make sure your Home Office has an 18 inch x 18 inch space for this marvelous printer. For our home office, it is well worth the trade off for a quiet, fully-featured, and sharp crisp printing workhorse!

Bought this for our church office. We no longer print "bulletins" and this works great for every day printing, copying and scanning. The print quality is not as good as a full size "professional" printer, but works great for our needs.

The Canon printer prints well, however, the software has been disappointing and is clearly inferior to HP printer software. Connecting the printer via WiFi to my computers was challenging and took a few attempts. Connecting it to them for scanning was much more problematic and eventually the GEEK squad technician installed HP scanning software on my Lenovo Yoga Pro laptop. He was able to get the software to work for scanning to my MAC. I was disappointed that the printer would not scan directly to my email or any other email addresses, and that I also could not initiate scanning to my computer from the printer, despite the key pad suggesting that it should do both.

I love this printer. It was easy to install. It prints clearly. I love the wireless printing. The scanner works well. I haven't used the copy feature a lot yet but what I have done worked well. The only thing I don't like is it's heavy, but I think pretty much all All-in-one machines are

Great printing quality, the only downfall - have to reconnect to computer for wireless printing pretty much everyday...

I bought this to upgrade from inkjet printers for more high-volume printing, and I love it! Canon always delivers great printers. This was super easy to install on my desktop, Surface Pro, and my wife's laptop. I didn't use the included disc, I just downloaded the drivers from the Canon website. Printing from an Apple device is also easy as can be. The multi-function works great for copies and scanning...I don't use the fax, so I can't speak to that. As you would expect, the print quality is excellent. This printer has a lot more power than I probably need, but it was offered at such a good price that I couldn't resist dropping a little more money for a lot more device delivered. I definitely underestimated how big this machine it. I have plenty of space for it, but it is very heavy compared to your typical inkjet. Make sure you have ample space with solid support to ensure this stays upright. I would highly recommend this printer!

Picked this up on sale and was greatly impressed. Easy to setup. One on the network I downloaded the app onto the iphone and ipad. The app for the iphone and ipad automatically finds the printer. Just took minutest to start printing. I was surprised how easy it was to scan a file so that I could email it to someone.

I love the double sided printing, speed and quietness.
