to many options that are either pointless and bloat. The setup needs to be streamlined. the interface is clunky.. SIMPLIFY MAXIFY

I needed to update my hardware with a Windows 10 compatible printer and this good quality printer came up in a Best Buy flash sale. Wired printer set up was pretty easy - the wireless set up is proving to be a bit more challenging. This printer has a big footprint - be sure to measure your desk or office space dedicated to the printer.

Very good printer so far. Very easy to set up and functions well. No issues printing from all of the household devices.

Don't' care that the paper trays are exposed. Dust and dog hair gets in them. Still having trouble setting up the fax function. Other than that for the price it was a good buy.

I found this printer easy to setup for our home network, and I really like the print quality that it delivers, including decent pictures if you use Kodak picture paper. Print speed is pretty good, does a decent (but not great job) scanning and providing those scan job to your devices. When you print from a smartphone the margins and formatting can be a little frustrating. I've also had problems printing webpages and articles from the internet on my wifes computer but that could be a source device, not printer, issue. My biggest complaint about this printer is just how much ink you will run through trying to use it and how much it costs. I have a work printer where I use $50 worth of ink a year and i print 3 times as much as we do on this printer. This printer uses easily $200 worth of ink a year. It also doesn't have very ink good ink management setting -- because why would Canon want you to be able to conserve ink? My recommendation would be to spend the money for a smarter more efficient printer now rather than but this and keep dumping your cash in after it.

Functions well and set up was easy but the display messages can be confusing. Only had one jam and that was from heavy paper.

This printer actually came with a full supply of ink! It does everything I need it to plus more. I feel I got my money's worth with buying this printer!

If you have space for this printer, I recommend it for the price and function it offers.

Actually thought this was a laser printer when I bought it, but no it's an ink jet (my fault!). Takes a while to warm up when you first send docs to print, after that it prints well and fast. Haven't used the scanner yet. It is quite big and bulky which for me was going to be fine if it was a laser but seems almost a bit too big for an ink jet - again this is probably because there are two X paper trays

the printer suits my needs and the scanner has been very good. the fax i haven,t used yet.

This machine works good-- nothing fancy but it gets the job done. The price is a great value, and even more so if you get it on sale. The main reason I bought this is for the fax / scan capabilities. It replaced an older Canon that didn't have the fax. The print quality is good-- just what you would expect for an inkjet, but not as good as your average black and white laser jet in this price range.

Excellent printer! Easy to set up and operate. The speed and quality of the print is amazing for the value!

The setup was extremely simple, I do have a mac, so I can't attest to a windows based computer. Prints fast.

Easy to install. Printing and scanning is fast and the WIFI capability is great.

The best thing is there`s no micro-chip in the ink cartridge... I`ll never buy an H.P. product because of a past bad experience with that... Our new Canon is so smart an easy to use, we love it...

Bought this printer at a really great price. Fast, smooth printing and easy setup.

I have had HP printers, other Canon printers, and most recently, an Epson printer (never again), and this particular Canon is my favorite printer I've ever had. Clean, clear printing, and it can even print two-sided. Anytime I've wandered away from Canon, I've regretted it. It's Canon, or nothing.

Typical ink her machine. Little slow getting warmed up and it is rather large. But front paper trays id's a nice feature
