I love the quality of the ink and how the ink is long lasting, also the price is good too. I don’t use my printer a lot but when I do I need to have my ink. I have gotten ink from others but they didn’t compare to Canon at all.

Bought to use with older printer so went with standard size and not XL for the price. Only negative is the low capacity.

I use an inexpensive Canon Pixma printer scanner and plain copier paper to print reference material that doesn’t need to be presentation quality. I print draft quality to save ink, and medium/good quality for anything I need to turn in. The ink lasts for quite a lot of draft/good quality text only prints. I need to print a series of high quality black/white text compositions for a project soon. It was recommended I use a laser printer, but I’m going to test it out with my Canon Pixma inkjet with the 245 ink printing to HP premium matte presentation paper. This paper is cardstock thick and has a chemically enhanced substrate on the print-to side. I will see whether the black ink will print the text and lines as sharp as I need it to. Also, these cartridges have not ever streaked before running out of ink.

This works great and it lasts a long time. I have used it before and have been very happy with it.

The pixma 245 black printer cartridge is very easy to install and seems to last a lot longer than other cartridges that I have purchased in the past. Combine this black cartridge with the color one to save even more.

Cannon printer is great inexpensive printer and ink for it is reasonably priced. Have printer over two years and no problems. Changed printer settings so I only have to buy black ink.
