Excellent photo quality. Has a large range of thickness and size you can print out.

The printer itself is great and prints well. However, its software is antiquated and not user friendly especially because it doesn’t have any screen to guide the setting up process. Setting up the wifi is very complicated

Great quality prints especially with photo glossy paper. I been using this printer for vinyl stickers as well and it’s been great overall. The price is fair for what you get.

I purchased this printer to be able to print photos for scrapbooking. I am extremely impressed with the ease of using the app and the quality of the photos. It is a large unit, but that was worth it to me in order to be able to print larger photos.

The Canon Pixma iP8720 is a great photo printer. I’m extremely happy with it. Photos are sharp and vivid. I have a MAC desktop and MacBook Pro and have had no problems using this printer. You have to go to the Canon website to download drivers and software but it was no big deal and I am not high tech at all. I highly recommend this photo printer.

I was looking for a printer that wouldn't be hard on my budget and I've found it. First, we all know the cartridges that come with the printer aren't really full but so far I've printed about 20 8.5 x 11, 1-11x17, 15 5x7 all borderless and full color and I still have ink left. Not to mention the black and white documents I've printed.
This printer is just what I wanted. The quality is close to that of print bureaus and my clients seem satisfied with them as well. One day I am going to buy the Canon model that's even better than this one. Until then, this one will work just fine.

I got this specifically for the rear tray. I need super thick card stock printing capabilities and this was one of the only Canon printers with a rear tray. After several issues arose when printing on smooth (NOT glossy, semi-gloss, or any other photo paper) types of paper, I had to return it. I would get white cross-hair type of lines through multiple colors even though the ink was full. I was told this was due to the print head. HOWEVER, there were never any issues using Canon brand of photo papers. I used several different kinds and never had the same white lines as I did using normal matte paper. Definitely recommend for excellent photo quality and photo paper only.

Prints fairly quickly! Color is good. Easy to understand. Love that this is a wide format printer. It was hard to hook up to wifi, but that was my fault that I didn't understand what was meant by some terminology. I recommend it!!

Great printer with amazing quality prints. Just a heads up for anyone who runs into the same problem I did at first and that is, if you are getting lines from printing with Photo paper or glossy vinyl sheets check the system printer settings. By default it'll print great on normal paper, but go into printer settings and adjust it for photo sheets and increase quality.
I wasted so many sheets till I found out about, once I found that out it was smooth sailing and all my prints are legit great quality!

I purchased the Canon Pixma iP8720 to replace my Canon Pixma Pro 100 that I had used for years and loved. This unit has many of the features of the Canon Pixma Pro 100. The only problem I had was in installing wirelessly. I read articles about wireless connection problems. My home wifi has WPS connectivity and it should have been simple. It would not connect using WPS, but there was an option for a second wireless connect method and it worked on the first computer. My second computer running Windows 10 would not connect wireless and I had to use a usb cable.

This printer produced beautiful pictures. Ten of them, and then it stopped. Said there was a block in the printer. I checked everything, no block. It just wouldn't print. I owned this printer for a month before we could get it to finally connect and set up. I returned it.

This is a nice printer but far bigger than I anticipated (But that's my fault). It was easy to set up. I did have trouble connecting wirelessly, so I had to purchase a cable to connect to my computer but I don't find it to be a major inconvenience.

This printer is dedicated to printing various sizes of photographs. It does its job well. The colors are true and the printer works with a good variety of photo paper sizes and textures. I have been unable to get the printer to recognize out wireless network. When I do print photos, I connect the printer directly to my MacBook Pro. It is a bit of an annoyance. I don't print all that often, but it would be nice if I could have found a printer recognizing a 5G network.

Photo prints outstanding. The Easy Photo Print utility is indeed EASY. The addition of the gray cartridge makes a difference.
You can use it for other printing but you get top quality and lots of my printing does not need that.
