Easy to set up. I did so for my desk top, phone and iPad. Pictures look great. Prints other stuff well. Would like to see a display on top of the printer.

Love this printer! We’ve been adjusting to editing the settings so they come out how we like it and still need to work on it but overall we’ve loved testing it out and printing photos we’ve taken for friends and family :) I’d recommend for anyone who likes to play around with how the printed photos come out. If you just want photos to come out exactly as they look from your device, I’d just say be aware that you’re going to need to mess with the settings to get the right look.

I bought this printer hoping to print photo cards on matte cardstock. I called Canon, Best Buy and even other professionals and scoured the internet to find the best printer settings, printing program and paper to achieve this - yet still came up short. No one had any solid recommendations. All prints were dull and lacking contrast. If you want to print on a glossy photo paper, the prints come out amazing. This just couldn't achieve what I was looking for - and if it can, I couldn't find the support or the way to achieve it. Best of luck!!

Overall decent printer for the intent. Bought this for my wife to use as a crafting printer. It definitely does the job and considering the projects she does it is definitely useful enough quality. If you're looking for this printer to be your every day print 20 pages per job, not the best investment. If you're a crafter or a photo home amateur this is for you, despite the cost .

I bought this printer specifically to print labels on printable DVD's. This printer prints 11x17 (actually 13x19), but I didn't need a 11x17 printer, I just needed to print labels on printable DVS's. I had a earlier Canon to do that, but it finally died. I couldn't find a smaller DVD printer. It's operating on wireless, but it took a while to set up the wireless because my Xfinity router doesn't have a WEP setup button - has to be installed on the network by connecting to a computer via USB, and that computer has to be on the network you want the printer to be on.

Works greats! It prints good quality photos with nice colours. Depending on the material your printing on, it prints fairly quickly. But one thing that isn't great was connecting the printer with the wifi.

I love this printer. It is bigger than I thought but prints well. The only thing is that it doesn't scan but I have another printer in the house for that. Great quality

I bought this for my husband who wanted a printer that could use wide format paper. We own another pixma and I am a Canon convert (from HP). This printer is everything I expected - great quality and dead easy to put on the network.

This suits what I need for my artworks after the length of the research on printers. One slightly marred thing is it shakes when it is printing but not really bothersome.

So far so good. The setup process was a bit tiresome. It keep telling me it didn't recognize my device. The third installation process went well. It doesn't have a screen on the printer every thing shows on your computer. That takes grtting used to. I printed 15 11x17 size dark tranfer paper with black backgound before i had to trplace the black cartridge. I think that was good. Only had the printer for 1 week.

I purchased this printer for personal use and I am DELIGHTED with what its performance. The clarity is amazing and accompanied with Canon Glossy II paper, it's exceeded my expectations. I have also put in aftermarket ink and still it performs flawlessly. Wireless printing works great and downloading the software to our new computer via online download was seamless. If you're looking for a personal use printer or even an entry level professional printer that can print up to 13x19 prints.... this will satisfy those needs. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I bought this unit because I wanted a great photo printer, and this is the one. I did not give it five stars because it does not have a screen display and all adjustments must be made through your computer. It is airplay capable and pictures printed from the iPhone come out fantastic. It is not as fast as my previous printer an HP, but the print resolution is twice that of the HP, both vertically and horizontally.

The printer itself is outstanding. Really good quality, fast, easy to use.
Only complaint is (as usual for inkjets) the amount of ink cartridges it goes through & the rip-off cost of replacing them. It has 6 ink cartridges, each cost about $9, and I'm replacing at least one a month on average & I hardly do any printing.

Great printer. Works as expected so far.
Would highly recommend. The quality of prints and photos is excellent.
The delivery and communication by Best Buy was outstanding from day it was shipped to arriving at my home.

Excellent Printer, I purchased this printer as I needed the print on CD's and DVD option. Prints beautiful photo's. I'm having a difficult time getting the printer connected to the wifi network, but I hope I get it figured out. it's also a larger printer than my previuos PIMA iP7220
