I have had a monochromatic brother printer since I graduated high school and absolutely love it. It lasted me 7 years until I started grad school last year. I am in graduate school and I outline all of my lectures/color coordinate subjects etc., so when I need color printing I would just go to campus and use the printing services there. Because of the coronavirus outbreak, our campus shut down and we are transitioning to at home learning. I immediately had to search for a good color printer that automatically printed on both sides, was all-in-one, wireless and wouldn't break my budget. Pros: This printer does all that! It was relatively easy to setup through the canon set up website. I did have some issues at first with the quality of the color printing but after some troubleshooting and adjusting my margins, it worked out well. Overall, not many complaints. Its a good printer for what I paid and I hope it will last at least through the duration of my grad program. Cons: However, this printer is slow. It takes great pauses between sheets to the extent that I thought only the first page of my document was sent to the printer. This isn't ideal but not a deal breaker. The troubleshooting on setup wasn't outrageously difficult, but it did take patience and I ended up wasting alot of ink due to the multiple test sheets I had to print. I don't consider myself tech-savvy but I can follow directions exceptionally well and everything I needed was well laid out in the manual. Overall, if you're a broke graduate student who needs a decent color printer for light-moderate use, this is a good one. I got it on sale at $49.99 and so far it's worth it.

This printer works great with a USB cord. Wireless is a hit or miss. Connects great to the phone but not as great to the lap top. I would recommend purchasing the cord that is not included. Great for printing, scanning (using the app on the phone), and making copies. For the price its a good deal for a home office. I do like the 20-sheet automatic document feeder. It is easy to install. When putting in the ink cartridges it can be a bit tricky follow the manual and be gentle. Ink lasts me about 3 weeks.

Ok, I was a little skeptical of getting this printer considering all of the bad reviews that were in the foreground. However, I’m so glad I purchased this little printer! I use it to print artwork for my Etsy shop and the quality is outstanding! I really like this printer, it’s got so many different features, from fax, scanning, copying, you name it. And the wireless aspect of it is awesome too! Makes for one less cord draping across my floor. Many buyers said that the wireless connection part was the worst part about the printer, but, I set mine up in a breeze. You just have to have a little know-how in tech to accomplish this. I recommend going to Canon’s website and downloading the latest driver for the printer prior to setup. It helped me a ton. My computer picked up this printer instantly and connected without issues. My iPad also connected to it without problems. So, ignore the crumby reviews and go for it. I’ve had a great experience with this versatile printer so far. Highly recommend it!

For the price, this is a great little printer for my home office. It was pretty easy to set up, I love the wireless feature and the compact size makes it easy to fit on my desk. The only drawback is the small size of the paper cartridge, it only holds at the most about 30 sheets so for big projects, I feel like I'm refilling it pretty often.

I purchased this printer back in November. It work Great. Printed items from my emails, Pictures, letters, printed Coupons from my favorite Stores. I enjoyed that fact that it only needed 2 cartridges. The Printer did not take up much desk top space. I like the keyboard located on top making it easier for sending a fax. It worked great on the WiFi. I was able to get emails printed out from my Laptop in the back room in the house. It had done a very good job. The one thing that happened was the power turned off and right back on. I check the printer when this happen. It was still working good. Then the bad thing happened. Then 2 weeks later the printer went crazy. It kept flipping through the menu showing the whole menu then it went back and forth between the 2 sided copy and the WiFi Setup. I unplug it, let it stay off in hoping that it would reset itself. Unfortunately the printer did not reset. This is a fluke. There was a possible short in the computer board of this printer. I took the printer in to return it. What happened to mine is just a fluke. I just so happened love this printer. It was to bad something had happened to it. Best Buy credited my account back for the printer. It was very nice of Best Buy to do so. I purchased the next model up that is the TR 8520. I am enjoying the new printer and how fast the printer works. Just because this happen to me does not mean this printer model number TR 4520 is a bad printer. It is actually a GREAT Little Printer.

I recently moved, and my usual printer was packed and put in storage. Of course, it turned out that I needed to print and scan. This printer was on sale, and it is satisfactory. Set up was easy, but I haven't set it up with as a fax, nor have I linked it to my cell phone for printing. The instructions were easy and very step by step. It can print on both sides of the paper, and it looks professional. Color is okay, but seems maybe a little light. The black ink cartridge that came with it seems to be capable of printing 40-50 fairly busy pages. I haven't use the document feeder yet, but it looks very easy. The scanner works great. I like it for the price. On the few negative sides, the document feeder and finished tray looks cheap/ thin plastic; and the print speed is slow. But it was only about $70 on sale, so it's good for the price.

It was great while it lasted. I had it for More then a year and printed hundreds of pictures besides my regular printing. One day it just locked up and was going to cost more to have fixed then it would have to buy a new one

I bought this to replace a big HP printer that was a piece of junk! Got it home and had it set up and running in only minutes. I have not used the fax yet, but the print quality is great, its not super fast but that's OK. Scanner works well, the wireless aspect is awesome for printing from my phone or iPad. I like this one a lot! Oh one more thing price was fantastic!

Printer was easy enough to set up - would have preferred the instructions to be a little more detailed but I got there in the end. Installing the driver on my Mac did not match the instructions noted - but again, got there in the end. The printer is also a little on the loud side (comparing it to my previous printer) but I don't use it all that often. Actually printing is also a little finicky in my opinion - the paper tray has to be just such to work. *Only reason I got this printer was because with the most recent Mac update my old printer would no longer work. Needed the Apple Print capability. Having to get rid of a perfectly good printer now.

I have now purchased two of these, one for me md one for my daughter. Easy to set up, compact and quiet. However, like most of these printers/copiers, ink cartridges are expensive and don’t last long.

Followed directions carefully and found install and set up to be easy. Set up a Mac and iPhone for WiFi printing. Everything worked seamlessly. Ink usage (and availability) remains to be seen, but for an occasional use printer, this will work. Good quality and reasonably priced in an attractive compact package.

It is a great product. It doesn't jam. Prints clearly. Not the fastest printer, but it is reliable. Plus it was very inexpensive. But most importly, when I ask it to print, it prints. I am tired of other printers always jamming. Also, easy to set up. I had no problem syncing it to two cell phones and one laptop.

I love this printer. Simple to set up. I was printing color and bw documents in minutes. I downloaded the app and can fax from my phone right to the printer. Not expensive! I needed something for work to just bridge my need to print and fax while working from home.

The Canon PIXMA TR4520 was a decent price for the amount of printing I do...which isn’t that much. Just for home use. It prints well but is quite loud and I had a hard time getting it setup. I followed their instructions but for the most part I had to figure it out for myself. I wanted it to print from my new Dell Laptop wirelessly and for some reason I had a hard time getting it to print. I think I got it now. Overall, I would say it is ok for my use.

After owning a canon printer for more than 10 years, it unfortunately bit the dust. Guess they’re built like Honda’s! Haha. Anyway- this printer is great. It’s small for a dorm room or small home office yet it has all the functions you need. It has a custom fit paper tray so it aligns the printer with any size up to a standard 8.5x11 in. Super easy set up, took less than 10 minutes to pair with my MacBook that doesn’t have a cd drive. Most of all it’s quiet, which is nice as well. The ink it uses is a bit pricey compared to what I was paying for my old printer but the quality and ability to print double sided is compensating for it I guess! Overall, I’m pleased with this product and would buy it again.
