This is actually a great value for the price point. It's a color printer with reasonably good print quality. Average speed for an ink jet. Can print both sides (manually). Has a small foot print. Is a direct wire connect so no wireless hassles. Software is feature-rich and backward compatible to Win7. Ironically, a twin-pack of the high-capacity black and color ink cartridges costs more than the printer... that's how inexpensive this is. I bought this because my Win7 computer could no longer print to my HP Laser Jet and HP has no backward compatibility option nor support for Win7. This Canon works just fine for the low print volume Win7 apps I still run.

Very nice printer easy to set up and prints very good. Great price.

Does what it needs to. No frills home printing printer that prints pretty good. The words come out sharp on the page even if the guy that typed ‘em isn’t too sharp, but that’s on me. Ink shouldn’t cost as much as it does, but what’re we going to do. Everybody’s gotta make a living some how I suppose. Some do it selling dark liquid in a very specific plastic container.

This printer was easy to set up and does the job we need it to. I like the ability to print wirelessly from my phone. We haven’t had any issues with it and the quality of the print is good as long as you keep the ink levels up.

I've had this printer for about 6 weeks now and it's been performing well so far. My only complaint is that one of the ink cartridges is already running low from just a few print jobs. This printer is bare bones. There's no Bluetooth/Wifi capability. You need to purchase a cable separately if you don't have a husband like mine who keeps old cords around the house.

Easy setup prints fast no complaints so far. It doesn’t take up much space .

good printer, doesn't do to well with Bluetooth with a MacBook. Just by the proper USB cord to print

Fits perfectly in our small shipping space. Unfortunately, we had to go buy a Canon USB cord to connect with our computer.

I just got this printer a few weeks ago. I didn't want a wireless one. This one is great! It doesn't come with a cord to connect it to your computer... luckily, I had one that I used with my old Canon printer. So, I was all set. I am happy with how it prints! Price is awesome!

I bought this printer last year to take to Florida with us because we need to print items while traveling. This is a great little printer that serves our needs.

This is a basic printer, but it was very inexpensive. It is not wireless but not a necessary need for myself, because I only print from one computer. It operates flawlessly. The printing speed is fast, even in color. The print quality is very good, better than I expected. The print cartridges that came with it are good sized and should last awhile, and the refills when needed are inexpensive. It was well worth the price I paid, and Best Buy always has the best deals. If not, they will price match any competitor price.

Canon printer is a good pick for a temporary printer. The only negative issue is no usb cable included. Some difficulty finding the ink cartridge slots, you must power on unit first.

Great printing but was not as small as I was hoping , I like lil things and easy to take anywhere anytime so this wasn’t for me

I upgraded my laptop and was forced to purchase a new printer also. I had a really nice Canon PIXMA photo printer which it not supported for Windows 11. Compared to it this feels lightweight and cheap, but so far it does what I need for home. This printer was easy to set up and doesn't take up much room. It was $50.00 and I had a coupon so the price was great.

So, my review is going to be a little strange! First, I never actually used the printer because FedEx delivered to the incorrect address, and I never got it. When I called customer service, the printer was out of stock. Now, for the good. Customer service was amazing. They tried to get me a new printer, and when they couldn't, they gave me a refund without any hassle! For the customer service alone, I'll use Best Buy again!

Why would you sell this product w/o telling customer that you have to purchase a separate connecting cord in order for it to work properly??

Works great! I was in a pinch and needed a printer right away. Very happy with purchase!

For the most part, this is a good little printer and that is all I wanted, for printing invoices for my clients (and maybe a few other things). The "only" bad thing I have to say about it is, Canon needs to rethink their driver install software - Look I know computers have gotten more complicated over the years, but this new install process is over doing it, come on we just need a driver to make it work - I actually had to call tech support to install the driver (this I never do!). So they had me plug in the usb cable instead of having it unplugged as the instructions give - so it worked for the first day of setup, then after that nothing, so uninstalled the software and reinstalled again with the tech supports suggestion of usb being plugged in - Now everything works, just have to remember one thing, as the printer goes to sleep (for power savings) you need to turn it back on "just before" you want to print - I am on the Mac and Windows platforms, running an older Mac and Windows computer - On my newer Mac is where the Cannon printer lives, it is shared on my network so "all" computers can print, like I say though - Main computer where the printer lives must be awake and turn the printer back on just before printing from the main computer or any computer on the network and all is fine.
