Read above. (Which is more than I can say for my 3 year old HP inkjet and my 1.5 year old HP color laser.) I’ve always read that Canon has the best hardware. HP the best software. This seems to hold true. Even with a static IP I’ve had to reconnect this printer a couple times. So, 95% of the time it works every time. - Brian Fontana

This replaces a TS9020 I gave my daughter as she liked compact and easy to operate it was. This new model is basically the same as the older model but faster and also easy to operate. The Cannon printing software is childish and totally outdated, my only complain. I use straight drivers to print from app. bypassing the "Image Garden" software.

We've always had canon printers, so when it was time to upgrade this was a no-brainer. Auto sleep / wake is great. We've had no problems. Paper cartridge is a little small if you do a lot of printing, but not a problem for casual use. Photos come out very nice.

Works right out the box, no issues, prints amazing pictures

We wanted a printer to print pictures on primarily and also for general printing. This unit prints picture quality prints, with great color renditions. It also works great for copying and printing on regular printer paper. The 5 ink cartridges are expensive, but if you need a photo printer for home use, this is a great printer.

Bought this after recommendation from a HP rep in store. Worked out of the box and printed a perfect picture on the image paper.

Good !/$. Easy to set up. You can scan in any doc to PDF, print anything from your computer. Works on internet so all computers can use it. Great for home use, not heavy duty large print jobs. It can print them just can get expensive if you use all the color ink up. I also use clone ink and it works great. I've had this for a year now and it is perfect for us.

This is an upgrade from my Cannon printer. Works well for my needs, printing reports for school. The photo prints look great but it's an ink-gobbler, and ink is expensive. Didn't realize this printer doesn't have FAX capability. It's a nice-to-have function but usually I can scan to PDF and attach documents.

Fast printer with great quality. I am very pleased with the small size. Highly recommended.

Print quality for photos on both matte and glossy high end photo papers is great. However, it does not have great wifi range. I had to move it within 6 feet of my computer to get a stable connection. The same is true if I try to print from a tablet or phone, I must stand pretty close or it does not respond.

Our old canon printer was on its last leg, so before it finally died we went looking around for a new printer at several other stores, we finally decided to purchase this printer that was on sale at our local Bestbuy. This printer was so easy to set up on our mac and the manual was very easy to understand.
