Otherwise color is very good for photos which is my primary need. quiet, quick,

Great value for money

Apart from the print and scan stuff, i really like that you can scan page after page and the can be automatically merged into a single document, no need for extra software-its handy. Also love the fact that it has individual cartridges, albeit not cheap. Recommended.

Excellent Home Use Printer!

Biggest issue with previous HP printers was not being able to remotely wake printer up from sleep or standby mode. This Canon printer has no trouble with this and is an excellent printer for basic at home use. The scan feature is easy to use as well!

Slower than Snot in January

Simple text pages, for me, take over a minute to print via a wifi connection. My school age kids complain frequently and the time it takes to print a paper. My wife also complains when printing coupons.

Uses a lot of ink for what I used it for on invite card, magnet creations, and a few 5*7 prints. Unfortunately it prints best for only anything smalelr than 8*10. All my business cards came out with a streak (8*10), but my 5*7 invite cards came out crisp and clear.

Great for many functions

We have had to print, sign, and scan a lot of docs since we bought a house recently and we desperately needed a printer to save us the hassle of going somewhere to use a computer and printer. It's very convenient and simple to use, and it was definitely worth the money!
