It was a big upgrade over our 10 year old printer, but it didn't blow my mind. We haven't experienced any paper jams. The internet connectivity is stable. The photo quality is decent. It doesn't burn through ink at an alarming rate. Overall, it's solid.

Works well. prints fast and clear. Only issue is hate buying refill cartridges for it, seems like it goes through them fast but it could be wht I am printing and settings. Was easy to add to my home network.

Easy to set up. Reasonably priced and great quality.

My last printer was a canon and have had good experiences with canon so I decided to buy another canon. I love this printer, fast at printing plus you can print double sided without having to remove and reinsert the paper. The quality of picture printing is awesome too!

This little printer is great for connectivity, wireless, SD card input, and ease of connection; however, it is a bit fussy about having to register the kind of print paper each time you add paper. Also, it has to be all opened up to work. That means the paper tray and the output tray are extended, and the display panel is open. If you have two kinds of paper, then the top paper tray is also open - not really as neat looking as the advertising. Also, it seems to overprint part of the text when printing from html. It is simpler to print on DVDs than my previous Canon printer.

I bought this for my daughter-in-law because she loves to take her own pictures and then print them and her printer didn't do photos so well. She loves the qualityof the pictures and the fact that you can print the larger photos as well as smaller ones!

Simple set up. Quiet operation. Love the Canon product

Purchased this to replace an Epson printer that was only about a year old. The Canon is better in every way. Picture quality is good on paper and is excellent if printing onto photo paper. It isn't the fastest printer but it gets the job done.

i got this printer during a deal of the day. only had just over a week but so far i am impressed with it. it is easy to set up and works great. I like it much better than the hp printer and functions better. i like that you can set timer to turn itself off and will turn on automatically with a print command.

Easy to set up and use... does a nice job printing

I am impressed with the print quality of all of the Canon printers I have owned. Having said that, I set up this printer to print from my wireless router, and I found out that the connection has to be reset every time that I restart my PC. There is an "Easy Wireless Connect" and a "Manual Connect" under the WiFi menu on the printer. It looks like the "Easy" connect is intended to connect only once to each device, for the life of the printer. It becomes difficult if you ever have to re-establish the connection. I will consider printing documents and photos using the printer's SD card slot, because my WiFi setup is not working reliably.

Time from out of the box and using it was much less than an hour. It prints well, with vibrant colors. The only drawback is there is no automatic document feeder. Otherwise great.

Performs as expected. Highly recommend this printer.

This printer has quick decent printing quality and I like that my phone can print to it. The set up was easy. The downside is that it is made of really cheap thin plastic. I'm paranoid I will brake the trays everytime I use it.

This printer replace two HP printers that had bit the dust after 9 years. It has more capacity to do more things than the HP's but I haven't had time or need to do all that it is capable of doing per the manual. Based on the limited use so far I believe it will be a great replacement for my HP's.

We generally use this for a few small flyer publishing and the rare homework assignment that still needs to be printed. I haven't actually printed photo realistic from the printer but the features we use work well enough. - I've replaced the cartridges once since we bought it - since we don't print a lot. There is a mobile interface and my spouse and I both are able to print via our smart phones when we need to. - Had our first minor issue a couple weeks back with a slight tray malfunction we thought it was broken but a YouTube video explained how the directions could seem unclear to someone unfamiliar with what Canon's reps meant in the online documentation. All fixed and printing as well as ever.

Well, I went into Best buy looking at one thing, and bumped into this amazing picture printing machine. Few caveats... You have to have the right glossy Canon Paper. Of course the right, on the pricier side inkS. Since it isnt laser, prints on regular paper are not as crisp, But I LOVE the Pics on Glossy paper.

Inexpensive Feels a bit flimsy not very solid. Took over 25 minutes to figure out an error code that came up after turning it on. Including software installation it took over 90 minutes to set up and run the first time. The CD included is only for Windows. You have to go online and locate Mac software on line , The site sure they direct you to is 17 pages of looking for your model. Better to google search with model number and Mac OS. (in this day and age most new items will have a CD that contains both). And the Best Buy staff, give them two stars. After looking at printers for 15 minutes no staff person. I went to help service desk up front. They said they would send someone over. After 15 minutes, no one came. I ran into a staff that was cutting through the area. He said he was not sent there. He did well but Best Buy work policies to help customers failed completely.

This is a very easy to use printer with a lot of good features (photo printing, wifi, bluetooth etc). However, it is not that easy to use some of their software products (creation of cards etc). I would still recommend it.

the screen and paper guide are automatic meaning when you print a document they both slide out electronically. Didn't realize how sophisticated this model is, you have to be gentle with it before something irreplaceable breaks.
