I've had this printer for almost a year now and it's been great! Only complaint is it seems to run out of ink quickly but I don't have any other printers to compare it to.

First let me say I've always had good luck with Canon printers and expected to have the same with this one. It has been nothing but trouble. I will also say I've been in IT for 30 years, even written a printer driver - so I know a thing or two about printers. Nearly every time you try to print to this printer is says "Printer Offline". Take your changes, try to print... about 25% of the time it will print. The other 75% of the time, you are tasked with trying to get it to connect and print. Turn it off and on again. Nope. Try another computer. Maybe. Reinstall drivers - yeah there goes 30 minutes of your life! Now whenever we try to print in duplex, it jams. Redeeming quality? It has a small footprint. My advice to you - buy another model.

However, this particular January purchase was a replacement for one I purchased (and got credit for) in November that issued a hardware error code 6004.

I’m not technology savvy and it took me a bit to put together but over all once I got the product going it has worked perfect no more homework assignment post poned.

For everyday tasks, this printer just works. Phone, tablet or desktop, color or b&w. Inexpensive and versatile. Excellent value. After well over a year, still performing like new.

It is a good printer. The only reason i gave 4 stars is because they could have made it where it scans multiple pages instead of 1 page at a time.

This is a great little printer for the price. Very easy to use and I would recommend it. My old printer finally died after many years of use and I look forward to my new Canon providing years of service.

Excellent job in printing I initially bought this for the ability to print on printable CDs, and it’s working out just fine. Would definitely recommend.

had trouble locating a Mac driver at first, but then i realized it was recognized natively, so i was looking for something i didn't need. I haven't had it long but am happy with the results so far.

Excellent printer for home office. I have had mine for 1 1/2 years with no issue. Bluetooth works seamlessly with my iPhone and computers.

Was ready to check out buying new ink for other printer when we saw this deal of the day. Over 50% off both the ink of the HP printer and the original price so it was a no brainer and it’s great!

This printer prints on printable CDs and DVDs with good quality. That is most important thing to me. All the other features work and work well.

Most useless plastic box ever. NOT easy to set up. Does not work easily with desktop computer. Practically impossible with Chromebook. Have you ever had two teenagers crying because they can't get their homework printed? To print from a Chromebook you literally have to log into your google account on the printer touch screen, and navigate painfully through 50 tiny screens of unwanted files until you find the one file that you want to print, and click it from there. And don't put this on a high shelf, or you won't be able to use this display at all. It has to be fully opened to work. The only device that I have successfully interfaced with any ease is a newer Dell laptop. Also, don't bother with the Easy Replenish program. They will run you around between Best Buy and Canon, each one telling you that you have to go to the other one's website to finish setting it up. I've wasted MANY irretrievable HOURS of my life on this purchase. If you can finally get it to print, yes it looks pretty nice.

Simple and compact. Printing photos confusing if you want to just print not work through special programs.

Loving the printer so far. Though ink is a little pricey! Might be a good value depending on how long it lasts and how much printing is done.

This is the first printer I have had that doesn’t lose connection intermittently. I won’t use it for a month and it connects and prince every time

I've always been a fan of Canon printers and this one is by far the best. I don't really print on cds but I do print photographs and it does fantastic.

This printer is amazing and has maintained for years and multiple times of printing. We love this printer as an appropriate option for homeschooling and work.

Cannon never fails to provide a great product. This is the 3rd cannon photo printer I have purchased over the years and each one is better than the previous one. Always adding great new features.

Everything about this printer is modern, but because it values space and style over practicality, I feel like parts and lids are easier to break since they're so thin. The menu system and touch screen is great. But, sometimes the pages printed from the computer isn't clear and the ink can be faded even with the correct driver installed. Printing directly from the printer itself is fine though.
