This camera is what it is. A low cost, high quality camera that produces very nice outdoor shots at 16 megs. In the less than $100 category I wasn't expecting much. I am using this camera to supplement my SLR to take places when I do not feel like lugging my bigger camera. Easily fits in pocket or purse. Just as most compacts, the indoor flash pictures are lacking. Especially from longer distances. But for a spur of the moment shooter, it gets the job done. As a bonus the 8x optical zoom is a plus and the video feature is easy to access.

This Canon is relatively small with a decent sized screen. It takes exceptionally good macro shots and steadies itself very easily (which is great if you have unsteady hands like I do.) But what really blew me away, was the video function; when I took videos with this, they were clear and sharp and quite near perfect. The battery lasts a moderate amount of time without having to be charged, and doesn't run out of power for a pretty long while even after the battery light starts flashing. I would definitely recommend this!

Well, I just purchased this camera last week for vacation. I brought it to a concert and thought it may work or may not work. I took pictures and videos with this camera. WAS I surprised? They were so clear! I sat on the 2nd level on the side at the concert. We put them up on our TV and everyone has been amazed! One suggestion when videoing, if you zoom in, make sure it's clear before you shoot the video. All the other pictures and videos I took, were great! Also like the feature on the camera that helps and gives tips.

This camera was a purchase I hadn't wanted to make however, my Olympus camera needed a new memory card - what cards were still available were half the price of a new camera. The reviews on this Canon were positive. We had five days before our cruise to Alaska so needed to make a decision quickly, hoping I could learn the basics fast. Best Buy did not have it in stock so it was ordered and delivered to our home with two days to spare. I am very happy with the quality, clarity of pictures, the screen size is perfect, it is very easy to use and the slim size fits perfectly in my travel purse.

I would recommend this camera to anyone, it is easy to use, small enough to keep in your purse nd takes great pictures, however I highly recommend getting the extended warranty as if anything happens to it like with me and the shutter cover and slides falling out Best Buy will not exchange it.

Camera takes excellent pictures and offers many function/options to satisfy the casual photographer. Is compact, light enough to carry in purse or pocket which, given the choice, would always use it instead of. a cellphone camera. The rechargeable battery, easy to understand instructions and "in camera" help are convenient features that eliminate the stress of taking pictures for the occasional, novice user. Can't beat the price for a good camera that captures the moment, memories and fun factor we want to preserve in pictures.

Needed a small, light-weight camera for vacation photos. Had previous good experience with Canon products (both digital cameras and video cameras). Needed a good quality camera with some advance features like zoom, reasonable battery life and the ability to recharge a spare backup battery. Read some reviews on the internet and checked it out at Best Buy. No regrets. Very pleased with the purchasing process and product.

I needed a camera that was easy to use and took a decent photo. As long as I leave the settings on AUTO, I am fine. The photos are crisp and the color is good. For $100, it's a great buy. The battery is rechargeable and it comes with a very easy to use battery charger .

This is a nice compact camera for anyone on the go. I bought this camera because I was going to the Dominican Republic and taking my DSLR was out of the question. The pictures are pretty good for a camera of this price range and it has nice zoom + image stabilization which is nice. It is compact enough that you can just put it in one of your jeans pockets and go and the battery last quite a long time!

Bought this camera online from Best Buy for $90. Included an 8GB Ultra SDHC memory card & carrying case. Small, easy to operate, good pics. The included software allows stitching to produce a panaromic photo. I've used this camera to show the progress on a remodeling job and the panaroma pics are well worth it. Don't expect to take quick action type photos, but for scenery or portrait pictures, this camera fits the bill. As with all LED viewing screens, it's a little difficult to see what you are taking a picture of in very bright sunlight but this does not affect the quality of the photo. Comes with a recharageable battery that can be left in the camera to recharge or removed for charging from an a/c kit which is also included. That comes in handy if you have 2 batteries.

This is such an easy camera to use. The size is perfect to just throw in a purse or shirt pocket and go. The pictures are also a very good quality for the price you pay. I captured some really cool close ups of flowers and got great details of a bumblebee on the flower. I am very pleased with this camera.

Very good camera. It is great for what we use it for. easy to down load pictures onto computer. Light and fits in my pocket. Has features on it that is easy to use. The price was right to. We would recommend this product to anyone wanting an inexpensive camera with good quality.

Used this camera on two trips, very easy to use and not bulky like my old camera, so we would take it along more often. Battery life is excellent. Great pictures. Best Buy gave me a camera case for 1 cent along with this.

I like this camera. It fits in my shirt pocket so is readily available when I need it. Takes nice pictures with simple controls. Better control and picture quality than most smart phones.

For the price its a great camera but I needed a better steady hand feature. It has a far zoom witch I like plus it is small and light weight and easy to put in my pocket. It was also easy enough for my kids to learn to use for school projects.

Great camera for someone who does not want to spend a lot of time figuring out to take a photol. Easy to use, point and click. The fash does seem kind of strange. Maybe it is me who has not set it up correctly. Great camera for the price.

I am so happy with this product :) I have taken pictures and uploaded them to computer. Now I will have them always. I i was able to get vacation pictures of everything without having to reload a battery. It automatically focuses, is so easy to zoom and get closer to object. It is just so simple to use. I love it.

Bought this camera and absoiutely love it. Easy to use. Bought at a great price since it was a Deal of the Day. Great pictures. Quick download to computer. Had for over a month and after first charge and still taking pictures still going strong.

picture quality not as good as more expensive cameras, but I bought it as a second camera so I can always have one in my purse, ready to use. It is easy to use, compact, and a good camera for the price.
