Pictures are good, videos are bad

The pictures are amazing and I love them but when it comes to being a vlogger the video sound quality just sucks! I need to buy a microphone to TRY and increase the sound quality. The pure video footage is decently good but still could be upgraded. Overall it's a good camera but not the best for video taking. There are lots of camera settings which is fun to mess around with. Idk if it has a microphone jack but I'm going to find that out.

For the price I wasn't expecting much. This is a really good camera, great photos, easy set up and a great price. If you just want to take good photos and videos this is a great camera for that. You will need to purchase an SD Card with this camera. I would recommend this camera.

I was looking for a point and shoot camera. My old Canon broke but it was over 10 yrs old and held up well. Since this camera was very similar to my old one, I didn't have much trouble learning how to operate. It takes great photos. It is also fairly small and lightweight to carry. It has a wrist strap too. It does not come with a card. That is an extra purchase. That was a disappointment. More money to make it work. It does come with one battery. Overall, nice camera.

Been using this camera about a week now. Nothing really negative to say about this point. Nice clean photos. Easy to use. Very compact. Not a high end camera, but, has everything needed for my needs as an insurance inspector. This camera is used every day with about 200 photos taken daily. The battery lasts quite a while.

I took my daughter on a trip to San Francisco and knew that she did not have a small format camera for the trip as she had dropped and rendered her previous camera beyond repair. O managed to sneak this into her personal luggage before our flight. The camera worked flawlessly while we were on our trip. I intend to borrow it for my next trip to the largest train show in America in York, PA next spring. It is light, small, easy to carry, and takes very good pictures.

This camera was purchased for a high school student traveling abroad. While my DSLR would have taken terrific photos, it would have been quite bulky for the student to carry. I went with the Canon brand, and have no regrets! The images that were captured were brilliant, vivid, and incredibly clear from this point and shoot. It has a rechargeable battery pack, and made it through several days' usage on a single charge. It survived being carried in a backpack along with other day-trip necessities, and performed every time. Great investment for capturing important memories!

I am a Senior Citizen with a limited knowledge for digital things, when I read the review on this camera I thought it would be very easy for me to use. When I went to Best Buy to purchase this campers the salesman explained it was very easy to operate, I would have no problem useing it. Well I then decided to purchase it. He showed me which memory card would be best to use. This sales person was not a pushiest person which I liked. I would tell anyone if you want a camera that is easy to operate, slim in appearance then purchase this camera.

We bought this camera for a two week trip and several hundred pictures were taken on it. The battery held up fairly well but I suggest picking up an extra battery if you plan to be taking a lot of pictures. For the price I think it was a great camera with really good quality for a point and shoot.

this is my second canon camera.the first one lasted 5 years and then the shutter for the lens stopped opening.knowing how great the pics were i bought this one and am glad i did.the battery is the same in both as well as the charging unit so now i have double the battery life.don't let it's small size sway your decision to purchase this great camera.

Love the high resolution and easy to use features. When you zoom in on the photos, the resolution remains high and the clarity is impressive. Battery life is not quite what I was hoping for, but about what can be expected. But overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Purchased this little camera for an upcoming Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas. We have another 35mm Cannon(Digital Rebel) but wanted a smaller one to carry around for that instant moment you wished you had a camera. Get fit for a shirt pocket and takes fantastic pictures. Very happy we purchased it and the Bahamas are beautiful!

This was actually purchased as a Christmas gift for my wife who accidently misplaced her previous similar Canon camera. Based on the Canon digital camera that she previously owned we know that this camera will be easy to operate, take great pictures and easy enough to carry around. It will make a great gift!

Camera is nice and light and easy to use. Tried the video function at a parade and it came out great. Small enough to put in your pocket but yet has a good size screen to revue pictures.

This is the second PowerShot I purchased (the first was many years ago for my daughter, who continues to use it today). This one is for my son who is traveling and needs a decent camera that's easy to carry and use yet takes good pictures. He hasn't left yet but he is already enjoying it.

This little camera packs a grip of features. I have been using in auto mode with good results. There is a learning curve to go manual as with most cameras. 20 meg pixle count means good resolution just get the right memory card to take advantage. Overall nice battery life and pic quality! A great value.

This was a great replacement for my current point and shoot. It is VERY easy to use and adjust to certain environments like outdoors and smaller objects. It also is a great size which makes it easy to carry in a pocket when you don't have a case. Adding the photos to my photo library online is a snap as well. Plus the picture quality has been fantastic. Very clear and detailed. Very happy I purchased it.
